What qualities help you feel comfortable meeting a new cuddle partner?

I've been thinking about how much first impressions matter in this community. Everyone has different comfort levels, boundaries, and communication styles, so I'm curious what stands out to you when you're considering meeting someone for the first time.

For me, clear communication, respect for boundaries, and a relaxed, judgment free attitude go a long way. I think it's important that both people feel heard and comfortable before ever scheduling a session.
What are the biggest green flags you look for in someone's profile or messages? Is it a detailed bio, responsiveness, shared interests, or something else?

I'd love to hear everyone's perspectives, especially from those who've had positive experiences here. Maybe this thread can help newer members create better profiles and make the community feel even more welcoming.

What are the biggest green flags you look for in someone's profile or messages?

@HeHolds Well IF there is a completely filled out profile, then I look for some similarities to match my own profile info especially whether the person in question is a NONSMOKER. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
There's a lot of smokers on CC, and I am not interested in cuddling with 🚭 smokers.🚭
    Nope! 😐🚭😐🚭

As far as messages go, they can be hit and miss...Few are successful in messaging with me, many others are not. But I appreciate honesty within one's messaging with me versus time wasting nonsense and sudden disappearances. 😊

  • @Katota Excellent points, I agree with being able to see all the needed info beforehand especially as a facilitator so there are less of those questions needing to be answered. To address your last point, honesty and transparency is key, even for myself to be able to be in such an intimate moment it requires a level of trust. Thanks for your insight on this! :)

  • @HeHolds You're welcome! πŸ€—

  • @Herholds I think for me personally it is how they write their profile and figure out what their personality and vibe is and then when you message them and set up a session with them you can read their vibes from the messages and get a sense of their personality and then when you finally meet them for a session you already have an idea and see how it translate to the actual session. From my experience I noticed that usually you can get a vibe based on the conversation on the site and it usually gives you a good idea before meeting the cuddler in person for a session. You just got to know how to read the person base on messages and just have a feeling of how this person is based on how they message you and for me usually how they are through messages is how they end up being in person and I have never had an experience where I felt like someone was completely different than they were through messages

  • @CoachJMan19 Thank you for that response!

  • A detailed profile is nice. I like to see how they treat people in PM and on the message board. Vulnerability is a big plus. The ability to engage in proactive conversation can make or break it.

  • Intentionally written profiles with details of who they are, what sets the apart from others and clearly stating what experience they are seeking.

As far as communication through messages, I appreciate when personality shines through. Confirming TOS, acknowledging boundaries and openness to a consent conversation is always a good way to make me feel comfortable.

  • For me, it’s consistency. If someone’s profile, messages, and behavior all match, that’s a huge green flag.

I also appreciate clear communication, kindness, and someone who respects boundaries without needing reminders. A little effort goes a long way too. A thoughtful first message tells me much more than a simple β€œhi.”
