How do I filter out inactive accounts?
1.Pray.
2.Click your heel 3 times.
3.Rub a genie lamp.
4.Realize there is no way to filter out inactive accounts.
It's kind of hard to do since when doing a search they are ordered from the more recent time they logged into the site yet some will make a profile only to never return. So that person that shows they were last online yesterday may never return, will remember the site a week or a month from now and come back, or they could check it daily... there is no way to tell what people will do. I've started talking with some people that we were having a good conversation over several days to a couple weeks, some that were too far away to meet, that suddenly stopped coming back to the site. I've had others that their profile showed they hadn't been on in months yet I sent them a message and they came back and we started talking. I just remember which profile in the search results for my area are ones that haven't been on in 8-12+ months and know that every profile before them is at least more active than them, working my way through profiles to see about which row has had someone within the last 2 weeks come to the site. Usually the most active ones are the ones talking in the forums... usually, but there are exceptions to that too.
I think after 3 months people should be deleted
@vibert - I shared my opinion on this on another forum post: The account should not be permanently deleted, but temporarily deleted until they themselves reactivate it.
I’d vote for hiding profiles instead of deleting them.
Or be able to search by who’s been on in the last hour, week or month.
I’m missing something. When I look at cuddlers, it shows them to me in the order of most recent time online. When I get to one that’s longer than I think is reasonable. The remains resulypts are filtered out-because I don’t look at the others.
@Greybeard - indeed you are correct. The cuddlers appear in the order of their most recent time logged in.
Our wish is to not even see anyone who hasn't logged on in 3 months or more.
Although I know it's a pain in the butt I'd still like to be able to search by "online", "online in the past 3 days". online in the past week", month, etc.
But this is a free site and I'm not paying for anything so I'm not going to speak too loudly.
