My email conversation with Evan Carp (Jeff Smith) founder and owner of "Snuggle Buddies"

From me
To Jeff

Before I continue and commit to your terms I have some concerns. Is there an option with this company for the cuddler to personally accept cash in the beginning of the session ? Ive heard many sad stories of cuddlers being scammed by you and Ive read many appalling reviews of you treating your workers and clients alike with a cold indifference and cruelty. I'm not one to judge sir and I will always respect you. I only ask for the same treatment in return. I have been doing well as a cuddler and I am very well skilled in my profession. I promise to always satisfy our clients in the fort Worth TX area. However, I'm not interested in online transactions. I want the money I earned handed to me by the client in person first and then I shall deposit your service fee. Please let me know if that is an issue and if so then I am not interested in working for you. Thank-you and have a lovely day.

From: Jeff
To me:

How will I receive my share? You expect me to trust you?

From: me
To: Jeff

I don't have countless bad reviews said about me in many websites but you do sir. Do you expect me to trust you? If I were to break our contract once it's as simple as banning me which obviously Im not looking to do. You expect me to trust you yet you obviously have no desire to compromise with me even though I'm the one doing the work and selling it. Those are my terms if you are not willing to compromise with me then I have no desire to use your services and obviously what was said is true. I'm not in the business of losing money and neither are you however in business sometimes one must gamble. I would make a lot of money for you if you let me, I don't have bad reviews on me. The ball is in your court sir. If you decline my offer I understand, there are countless other women who can work for you and surely to you I would not be a loss since you don't know me. But I know for a fact that not many will be like me. Who values Samantha Hess style of cuddling who loves and is passionate about this as her calling. To me this is my calling and I love every minute of it. And if I could I would even cuddle you for free to ease your depression because you need it. Do not let the world turn you bitter sir, you are much too worthy, you have started something that can be for ultimate good. Be blessed and take care.

I never got a reply back. This man expects you to trust him even though he is known to be a con artist and thief. He has forgotten that he is working for us not the other way around. If it weren't for the cuddlers there would be no snuggle buddies. Yes he has the capability of setting you up with appointments but no amount of money is worth the potential of being conned. Ladies and gents stay away from this company and stick with this site who gives the power to the cuddlers as it should be. Do not use that service as neither a client or a cuddler. It's just not worth it. He is severely damaged until he is changed and truly healed as an apple rotting he will only spread his poison to you.

Be blessed

It's interesting that you used the words "cold indifference" and that's the tone in which he replied, so he proved you right to be leery. Additionally, you told him precisely how he would receive his share and he glossed over it. Back when I booked through him, I gave the cuddler the money directly and it was then deposited by them after our time together, as you describe your preference to be. One lady did remark to me that he'd get aggressive if he didn't receive his share quickly, however. She no longer works there, either. Samantha does right by the business and gave him advice when he started. He's gone 1000% in the opposite direction.

This email conversation seems recent because she was aware of his depression. I guess he is not really sincere about changing the business for the better.

I had this conversation with him this morning after reading all his terrible reviews and pathetic excuse of having depression. He is the epitome of greed and deceit.

TSBOfficial made this comment in the other thread: " I personally prefer all of the snugglers on my website get cash instead of prepayment. The girls that have been on the website the longest get cash 99% of the time and there are no issues. I highly discourage prepayment actually."

Here's what I don't get. If he insists on prepayment for a pro's first client (because he doesn't know if he can trust her) how does that change with the second client? From his viewpoint, he only got his cut of the first client because he preemptively took it. So why does that suggest to him it's safe to have her take cash from the second client, though he was unwilling to do it for the first? He still has no evidence she will pay him; but now he's willing to take his chances?

I know someone to whom he said many months ago that he was getting rid of the prepayment mechanism. http://embracetherapeutics.com/prepay.html It's clearly still there, and as of yesterdayh's email conversation with this thread's OP, he is still demanding it.

Depression or no, the underlying problem seems to be one of credibility.

He has scammed many new snuggles out of hundreds of dollars. It all adds up a little here a little there. As long as he can manipulate others into working for him That man isn't going to change a thing. He's a con and not a very intelligent one for thinking people are just going to let themselves get screwed and not voice it online. I'm glad I researched.

@quietman775 I also thought about why the first to the second client makes that much difference as well. It doesn't. Trust is built over a long period of time, so if he sends someone out to their first client and doesn't get paid, he'll know not to give that person future opportunities. It's not like he's losing money if he never had it to begin with.

Also, regarding his alleged back-end staff, he said, "The worst offenders, who were with me for awhile, are gone." Yet, there's good old "Jeff" still answering inquiries. Considering Evan used to respond to me in same short, unprofessional way, I can't believe he's still trying to pull the "It's not me, it's somebody else" nonsense. Credibility fail.

I have an idea for The Snuggle Buddies. If TSB's website handles payment like Cuddle Companions, then the customer would pay online only the percentage that goes to TSB. The rest of the money would be paid in cash by the customer to the cuddler. TSB's percentage is higher than other companies. It is currently at 50%, so the cuddler receives $40 per hour and TSB receives $40 per hour assuming the cuddlers are compensated for their time working which doesn't always happen with TSB. I would recommend reducing the percentage to 40% for TSB which is what Cuddle Companions has and then 60% would go to the cuddler. Cuddlers of TSB need to know for sure that they will get paid and this system of payment would ensure that both TSB and the cuddler receive payment. Also, I think that people should not be customers of TSB unless they could pay the cuddler's percentage in cash to the cuddler after paying TSB's percentage online.

  • @RScarf1, I see too many issues with that payment plan. I think it works well the way it currently does for TSB, exactly like it does for CC: the cuddlers pay the pros directly, and the pros pay the percentage back to TSB after the session. Some people prefer to prepay online, and that's more work to track which can't always be done before the scheduled session.
Evan is a little looser on the timing of paying fees and only requests TSB's share every couple of weeks, though if I'm busy I'll do immediately after the session or tally up every week.

I don't wish to get involved in any discussions on this topic, but it seemed this misunderstanding needed to be cleared up.

    Happy Cuddling!

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

I described the same way of payment that is on Cuddle Companions. I don't think it's complicated. The customer pays 40% online to the company and 60% gets paid in cash to the cuddler in person. I think most cuddlers would be satisfied with that instead of what's on TSB now. The reality is that the cuddlers don't usually get paid first by the customer when working for TSB. I think there is enough evidence of that. If you are happy working for TSB, then fine. However, I think women are going to be reluctant to work for him unless a payment system like this is available on TSB. I don't think there is any misunderstanding for anyone who has read the entire thread on this topic.

  • TSB is a successful business. Get off their back. Just focus on CC. Yeesh. I hate when people blame others for their issues.

Im sure the owner of CC has complaints lodged against him.

Evan Carp is a winner in the cuddle business. He is all over the news! Lol

  • Actually, @Mark generally has a pretty good relationship with site members, both paid cuddlers and non, as well as pretty much all the site users from what I can see. And the dealings I have had with him as a site member have all been positive.

Can't tell if dreambuddy is being sarcastic or if alternate account of Evan Carp.

I've had nothing but positive experiences here and my first and only experience at tsb involved in me getting robbed of 80 which my bank later reversed for me.

  • @Alternis Pretty sure it's an alt account, due to everyone else looking at this issue and seeing that Evan is absurdly sketchy, and calling him "a winner" seems humorously biased for him.

  • Do you notice the amount of turnovers in members in CC. I'm here a short while and already noticed it

As I said every organization has its plusses and minuses.

    CC all day

  • @Lorelei you 'pretty sure. Lol. The person you were defending (@Alternis) is no longer a member. And pretty soon you too will be gone. Lol

Mark. Please explain why so many members leave CC?

  • [Deleted User]curiousgeorge1 (deleted user)

@lorelei i am sure are different reasons but one is likely due to not enough active members. There are very few other members near me. I have only been able to meet up once. And that barring a incease in users will not change. I dont have money to spend on pros so that limits things more.

  • @Dreambuddy you are comparing apples and oranges when comparing TSB to CC. TSB has no members at all, and never did; it is simply a cuddle agency with a listing of pros. CC was a community of cuddle enthusiasts long before it ever had any pros, and enthusiast members still greatly outnumber pros. As for turnover, both CC and TSB have substantial turnover among their pros, as well as pros who are relatively inactive.

I have seen pros from CC and also from TSB, and had some nice experiences both places. But the problems brought up in this thread, many by former TSB pros as well as TSB customers, are real, and the owner of that company has (obliquely) admitted same. If you can read this entire thread and see it only as people "blaming others for their issues," you are either trolling --- or you are an alt account for @TSBofficial.

@Alternis is still a member here, just deactivated. It's like hitting "pause" on the DVD player. If his account is either deleted or banned, then it would be accurate to say he is no longer a member.

  • It's the same sh** CC and TSB.

Only difference is that TSB has gained notoriety despite a few pros who allegedly were mistreated.

TSB is going strong. CC has major turnover in its membership and providers.

    PEACE in the Middle East

  • Wait I'm confused...you are condemning a pro in another post saying that she is a pro and therefore fake...but in this post you are supporting TSB, a sight full of pros that you are basically saying that you don't value and would never use...how is this logical?

  • You are taking things out of context. Believe what you want to believe.

  • Ashley Cuddles blocked me. Very classy. Can't handle anything that they don't agree with.
    Weak.

  • Sweetheart I can handle anything that you dish out. Don't confuse my southern personality with weakness.

Since you are trying to say how great and thriving tsb is I'll go ahead and admit that I signed up for both sites simultaneously not knowing their history. I've never gotten a single message from there and emails I've sent to make any changes to my profile have been ignored. So I can say first hand that the issues are still alive and well. But I'm sure it's just because I'm a pro which makes me soulless and only care about money right?

  • I wouldn't say that Ashley. I'm sure you are dynamic and have many admirers.

My only point is forget TSB because it usually comes down to he said she said. Therefore, It's very hard to make a precise point.

    Peace

To all concerned: the more this thread stays active it is just free advertising for a competitive site.

It was a totally inactive thread for 13 days until it was restarted 3 days ago.

The more antagonism that goes on in here like I said is free advertising.

  • @reurbo has banned him now for trolling and racism elsewhere on the forum.

  • [Deleted User]VIPirate (deleted user)

@Mark Racism too? Damn. I could tell the profile was sketchy, but that's totally unacceptable. Also interesting that Carp has been called out for racist behavior before. I have to wonder.

  • Wow. Just reading this thread. I didn't know other cuddle sites existed.

    CC is Awesome

  • Is snuggle buddies.com still active? I’ve sent client contact firm for days and no response!

  • @TSBofficial if you do work for snugglebuddies.com is it still an active site? I’ve sent client contact form for days no response!
