I slammed my thumb in a car door once. It hurt a whole lot, and was sure bending in a way thumbs don't usually bend, but I don't know whether it was actually broken, 'cause my immediate response to seeing that unnatural bend was to grab it and force it back into a more normal position (which made me scream again)—and then it didn't look weird enough, so Mom wouldn't take me to the doctor.
I think probably it was broken, though. Probably. I splinted it with a couple popsicle sticks and eventually it quit hurting (after like a week), but that thumb still doesn't move quite like the other one, so....
Probably I've had a broken bone.
@DarrenWalker it could have been dislocated rather than fractured, but either way it sucks that it's still not quite as mobile as the other one.
I broke my finger badly trapping it under a heavy iron drain cover. It still hurts when it gets too cold, because of the nerve damage I guess. Still, it compliments the nerve damage pain I get in the same finger on the other hand, from when I sawed through my finger with a handsaw while cutting firewood.
As for other broken bones, I've fractured my eye socket/cheekbone, nose, skull, several ribs, most of my fingers, both wrists, dislocated my shoulder and chipped two vertebrae.

I have broken many bones, but I cannot speak openly about my mafia days.
