Is the "Visitors" page accurate?

I've been chatting with a young lady for a little while now and it looks like we're finally going to meet (yay!!). But I've noticed that, according to the "Visitors" page, she hasn't once viewed my profile. While that may be possible (I haven't asked if she's viewed it), it seems very surprising and somewhat unlikely to me. I would certainly want to view someone's profile before I agreed to meet them.

So my question is: Is the "Visitors" page really showing me everyone who's viewed my profile? Or does it miss visits? Or are there special rules such as it won't show visits from people you're already talking to?

    It does but they fall off after so many, so if she visits your page and you don't go on for a couple days she may no longer be showing.

    Interesting. Do you know if it displays a fixed number of visitors, or a fixed amount of time? I've only had two recorded visitors, so i don't think she could have "fallen off the bottom".

    @natural_oceans first, congrats on the upcoming cuddle session!
    as for the Visitors question.. I believe if you're on the main page you'll see the last 4 people to view your profile while if you visit the Visitors page it shows the last 10. to my knowledge, the only way for a name to roll off the longer list is for 10 others to view your page regardless of time. so if it shows 2 people have viewed your profile then 9 more would have to visit before the first person to view your page would be pushed off the list. also, i don't believe that viewing a persons profile multiple times puts them on the list for each visit as i haven't seen that.. each person only shows once and looks like the last time to view your page is the only one that is displayed.

    If your profile is set to public, people who are not logged in can see your profile and I don’t think they show up on your visitor list.

    ^^That is also true. It won't show things like the last time you logged in on the public view, but will show when you joined and the rest of your public profile to anyone unless you change that setting to where someone has to be logged in to view your page.

    It appears that not all pages refresh in real-time. The Visitors page being one of them. For example, someone I was chatting with visited me at 7pm, but when I checked my Visitors page at 8pm I did not see her there. I did see her 7pm entry when I checked back at around 11pm though.
    Perhaps if you check now you should see her (unless she actually didn’t visit which, like you say, sounds extremely unlikely).

    Thanks guys. I didn't realise there was an option for public vs private profiles, that seems the most likely explanation. I will have to check that out.

    @natural_oceans Yes, if you look under your account and settings, there is the option for public/searchable versus private.
