Not a Pro/Confused

[Deleted User]clumsycuddler (deleted user)

For whatever reason, I've had several people on this site mistake me for a pro and I'm not sure why. I don't advertise any sort of service on my profile or mention cuddling for money, etc. Am I missing something? Should I change or add something to my profile to avoid confusion? Thanks for the help, everyone! :) <3

  • I don't know why. I looked at your profile and nothing seemed to suggest you were.

@clumsycuddler - The same thing has happened to me on several occasions. I have only been on this site for 6-7 weeks or so, so this is all fairly new to me. I have come to the conclusion that some people don't read the guidelines/rules before they jump in, and don't know the difference between pro cuddlers and enthusiasts. They start sending out messages and haven't refined their message/have no clue how to reach out to women.

I have had men message me and actually offer me money for a cuddle up front. No 'hello, how are you?. Essentially asking 'how much and when are you available'. Ugh... So distasteful.

If you read my profile there is nothing that would make you believe I am a pro. So, not sure why it happens - but it does and it is very, very tiresome.

  • Just block them for being stupid

  • Yea me too

  • Hi @clumsycuddler,

There is absolutely nothing about your profile that would make anyone think you are a professional cuddler.

I suspect that the people who are sending you those kind of messages may think that everyone on the site (or at least all of the women) are professionals.

So here are a couple ideas:

    (a) Write a "standard reply" that you keep in a convenient place so you can easily copy and paste when you receive such a message. It could be something like this: "Thanks for your message. You may not realize it, but most of the women on this site are NOT professional cuddlers who cuddle for money. Those who are professionals have a pink badge on their profile that identifies them as such. As for myself, I'm just a regular person hoping to make friends with other affectionate people who enjoy cuddling, so if that's what you're looking for, feel free to write back and tell me a bit more about yourself." If you make your reply somewhat "educational" like this (without being condescending or rude), it might help that person avoid making the same mistake with someone else.

    (b) If you get so many of these messages that you don't want to bother sending a reply to each one, you could always put a sentence somewhere in your profile (maybe at the beginning for those who don't read all the way to the end) that says something to the effect of: "Like most of the women on this site, I am NOT a professional cuddler who cuddles for money, just a regular person..." (as above but in your own words, of course).

I did not realize until reading your message (and the reply from @SJSpooner) that anyone might have this confusion. But I suppose there might be other sites out there that only have professionals on them, so maybe some people make the assumption that that is the case here.

Hope you find a nice cuddle buddy!

  • You could always just state it plainly on your profile. Example. "I am not a professional cuddler so please take the time to get to know me and be aware that I reserve the right to be picky so please be respectful to me at all times."

Anyone that wants to use that quote on their profile is welcome to it.

    Happy cuddling!

  • Your profile looks just fine!

I appreciate the help, everyone! I'm happy to know that it wasn't anything on my profile. Wouldn't want to think I was leading anyone on, y'know? :3
