  • For me it’s not about excuses it’s about a different belief system . I don’t discuss everything I do with friends . I don’t allow a partner to tell me what I can and can’t do platonically with friends . I don’t believe platonicallly cuddling with a friend or Pro is emotional cheating .i don’t believe my partner needs to agree with everything I do or needs to know every little thing . Unless I’m have sexual contact with someone else then it really isn’t something they need to be concerned about.

I don’t believe it’s my place to tell others how to deal with their own relationship whether they are a friend or a client . Unless they ask my advice it’s non of my Buisness . What they share or keep secret is on them .

  • @cuddlebugTM .. I'm with you. I've been on both sides. The delicate details of any relationship can not be summed up on a forum. Every relationship is so different. You can't generalize. I had a public cuddle tonight followed by a 3 hr. Cuddle tomorrow with a gentleman that's been married to the same woman for 44 yrs. She has Alzheimer's and doesn't know who he is. They are only 65 yrs old.

Can you fit him into a category or judge him? Absolutely, not.

We are all in our own unique, crazy, unpredictable relationships.

    Let's stop judging and accept.

  • I agree, stop judging and accept.

I had a friend who was a pro cuddler. She didn't investigate, but if the client said he was married, she would insist he bring his wife to the next session or do an outcall in their home. For the same fee, she offered to cuddle in any configuration and even teach them some cuddling postures. Very few clients returned or called. One guy actually brought his mistress posing as his wife. She happened to know this woman and knew for a fact that she was not his wife. Her client base was largely female and younger, so the lost clients didn't hurt the bottom line too much. I think she was pretty generous about the whole thing.

  • I just joined and immediately had men who were married and no profile picture try to meet up. In fact, they didn't even live in my city, they were just going to be in town for a conference. Not comfortable at all. I joined because my husband died and the loss is physically painful. I hold my marital vows sacred and could never be a part of any marital discord or deception.

  • @gamitchell98 you can’t just tak no profile picture as a sign of something shady. I am in an open relationship an my wife and I are very honest with each other. I however choose I not have a profile picture for privacy reasons that have more to do with everyone else in the world than I does with my wife.

  • I think it would be a good idea to add a "Separated" option to the relationship status menu. I'm separated and my wife could not care less if I cuddle with anyone.

  • Might be easiest to put divorced and explain later in that scenario?

  • OK, that makes sense- thanks!

My husband doesn't really mind if I cuddle, snuggle, or hug someone else. We both view it as just a thing between friends/ bonding. I also don't mind if my husband cuddles, snuggles, or hugs someone else either. We both trust each other. We both know that we are always going to keep things platonic between ourselves and others. However, not everyone is comfortable with this. I think it is something that should be discussed with a significant other. If the SO isn't comfortable with this, you might have to make accommodations for that person.
