Can you review my profile???

Aloha!

I'm looking for a profile review from you awesomes. Is there anything I'm saying in a weird/ red-flagy way? I received some views after messaging a couple of cuddlers, but I haven't been able to make any non-pros stick. Any advice?!

Hey Wayne, welcome to CC.

I think your profile is fine, for the most part. Interesting career, interesting take on intellect versus emotional intelligence.

If it were my profile, I would remove the whole section entitled "Here are my Boundaries." The site rules already specify that CC is for platonic cuddling only, and explicitly forbids most of the things you list --- making your list redundant. I always prefer reading a profile that is filled with the positives from start to finish, rather than reading a list of Thou Shalt Nots. If you feel a strong need for cautionary verbiage, I suggest something quick and general, like "We will comply with all site rules." No need to spell out a prohibition about exchanging saliva. You're tying to set up a cuddly vibe, here. ;-)

Reaching out to female cuddlers and getting no response is not an aberration. If you reach out to enthusiast cuddlers, expect most not to respond, for a variety of reasons. If you reach out to pros, the majority will respond. but not all.

I agree with @quietman775 I wouldn't push the boundaries in your profile! You can talk about boundaries after you have started talking to someone and are in the planning phase.

I loooooove that you have what you are looking for and enjoy in a cuddle. Being someone who likes to please people this Is veerry helpful!

I would say it's possible that your profile is intimidating as well, intellectually speaking. I know for myself that I might be hesitant to respond to someone if I thought they were much more intelligent than me. Not that you should hide that, just throwing a possibility out there.

@quietman775, You make a good point. The boundary section seems redundant and it of place since that's the whole point of this site! The section just got cut.

@Sashamcgee, Sigh, even when trying to be vulnerable, I come off as too intense ?. There's a part of me that's a bit of a dreamer and idealistic. Maybe highlighting that would soften things up. Oh, and I've been over-sharing and rambling on tangents recently with some of my friends. Somehow that's related to this emotional intelligence thing. Maybe touching on that quirk would be interesting. In any case, thanks for the feedback!

@AnEngineer. I like your profile and I love your pic. I'm an avid hiker as well. Planning an AT backpack trip for fall.

Don't stress about tweaking your profile. You will change it with time.

I have always found engineers to be sort a breed of their own (said with love ❤). I think you probably know what I mean. Overly analytical, perhaps a bit awkward but loving all at the same time. It's a nice thing.

@AnEngineer It's definitely nothing to be ashamed of ? I'm intense too lol I just thought I would point out the only place I could envision someone finding a flaw in your profile.

You seem like a totally awesome person and I'm sure with a little bit of time and patience you'll have a hand full of platonic cuddle buddies!

@AnEngineer - Great profile! Do keep in mind that it can take months before connecting with someone, even if you do every little thing right. That profile is a great start.
