Cuddling & The General Public

I've always wondered, how does the general public view the cuddling community and Professional Cuddling.? I personally don't see anything wrong with it as there are rules that make sure its platonic. Its also between two consenting parties. But then again, there are people that think that Cuddling is a front for escort services. Also (Personal question), how did family and friends react when you told them you are involved in the cuddle community (I already know there is a post about this, but I'd figured I'd ask this here as well)

    I thought there were some interesting answers here, though I'm not sure what year that was.

    Someone said, "I think it's sad that a market for this exists. I don't think I could do it." Then the next one said, "Where do I submit my resume??"

    And one response was: "There seems to be a pretty big market for it in Japan." :)

    When there's no explanation or context, some people can be pretty suspicious and say it is inevitability sexual. For example, this quote from a Madison lawyer in 2013: "There’s no way that (sexual assault) will not happen. No offense to men, but I don’t know any man who wants to just snuggle" (full story).

    I've come across some YouTube videos where a pro cuddler carefully explains things though (like this one and this one) and the responses from people have been positive. So I think it's just a matter of educating people.
