Weirdness

Why book a appointment then I call to confirm the appointment I'm told this is sketchy. I asked if I made them feel uncomfortable? They said no hung up and blocked me???? This was very weird.... Any similar experiences. I am pretty bubbly and caring person so Now I feel very uncomfortable now....
