Have you ever bought anything that you saw on an infomercial or from the as seen on TV aisle? If so, what was it and were you satisfied or disarisfied?
I bought egglets recently. What prompted me was that I really like the eggbites at Starbucks and felt that I could do something similar with egglets. After adjusting the cooking time a bit, I’m quite satisfied with my mini omelettes that serve as a quick breakfast on the go.
I bought a digital camera from a TV shopping channel. They had a guy demonstrating it that was familiar with every obscure setting and feature. He made it look easy and the results incredible. I was very pleased with it and have used it on many vacations, but I still have not learned all the features that the guy demonstrated on TV.
I have a problem/ ability with being able to remember numbers. When I was about 7, I saw a ring on TV I wanted to buy for my "girlfriend". The next time I went shopping with my parents, I memorized their credit card number and ordered the ring next time I saw it on TV. I was so excited and couldn't wait for it to arrive... Fast forward 4-6 weeks, the ring arrived, my parents were amazed I was able to do this, but ended up returning it, asking me not to do that again. ?
The bacon and gruyere sous vides egg bites are stunning, but I felt slighted with the egg white and red pepper. My Starbucks habit was getting a tad too pricey so I bought a sous vide machine from amazon. The egg bites are even better than Starbucks but sous vide steak is something everyone MUST try before they die. Simply luscious
I've also been a loyal oxyclean enthusiast ever since their mesmerising infomercials came on after Saturday morning cartoons when I visited fam in the states. Probably my earliest exposure to the power of American advertising but to this day I won't buy anything else. It bloody works!

I thought about buying a sous vide machine but haven’t brought myself to commit to it yet.
Shamwows are damn near as good as the commercials show. I don't understand it, but I love it. I used them back when I worked at Target to dry off carts on really rainy days and my mind was blown.
I make mini omelets in a muffin tin. I put the fillings in then the eggs on top and bake! As for as seen on TV, I bought one of those pouch couches and I have not been able to get enough air in it! They make it look so easy on the commercial. Lol

I bought a Comfort Click Belt. I think I prefer it over regular belts.
Vegetable Spinner - Raw celeriac/celery-root, turned into angel-hair noodles, makes a great substitute for spaghetti, and reducing carbs.

The magic bullet blender actually was pretty magical, though noisy. We got a lot of use out of it, may it rest in peace.
Shamwows are good. It's just a chamois, but unusually high quality.
I desperately want to try that spray rubber sealant crap you can spray on a screen door and make a boat out of. I have no application for it, but I guess I could always make a boat ?
