How to respond to a pro who asks to see a picture

A member of the site messaged me and asked how I handle a pro who requests to see a picture. I thought it would be good to post this in the forum in case other new members may be faced with this situation. It’s a pretty simple answer, if a pro requests a picture, send them a picture. You can attach pictures in messages now so you don’t have to post it publicly. If you’re concerned with privacy and don’t want to send a pic, you should probably just move on to another pro who doesn’t insist on seeing a pic. Aside from the one pro who wanted to see my ID, I’ve never had a pro ask to see a pic.

Just had one ask for a picture. TBH it was a little bit of a put off but I understood.

Its just that, if we are exchanging a financial transaction for a service, does it matter what I look like? I suppose they could decline if they dont find you attractive at all, or maybe its to check for creepiness... regardless as someone who hates photos and my looks its not a request I honestly like to fulfill.

As a pro I do like to have at least one pic to know who I'm meeting. Since a lot of guys don't have a pic in their profile sometimes I have to ask. I don't use the pic to see if the guy is attractive as that doesn't matter to me at all. It's more a safety/comfort thing for me.

  • Agree with @MissX . I ask for a picture before meeting so I know who I am going to meet and will recognize the person. This work entails some concern for safety and the necessary precautions related to that. Having a picture of the person to match up with the person who actually arrives is just one small step.

  • I never object to sending a pic to a potential cuddle buddy, whether pro or enthusiast. I usually volunteer it if the conversation looks like we are progressing toward an appointment. And If I don't happen to volunteer it, I don't mind being asked. A small handful of pros have asked me, and I was happy to oblige. The issues raised by @MissX and @ubergigglefritz are legit. What I don't get is the thinking behind the numerous professional profiles that say "must have pic in profile." Since it's easy enough to send a pic via PM (no need to go offsite) the requirement for a photo in the profile seems unnecessary. However, since there are plenty of pros who don't do that, it's easy for me to move on to the next one, so no real harm done.

@grumpcat - I agree with @MissX. Pro cuddlers don't ask for a picture to see if anyone is cute enough. I always ask for a photo so I'm able to recognize the person when we do the pre-cuddle interview in a public place.

I never would object a cuddler if they didn't have a picture to provide. If anything, i don't require a photo but I do appreciate it when they do provide one so I know who to look for when they are coming to my location (sometimes I have folks show up who are trying to sell me something lol) and also who to look for when I am going to their location and say, they have an apartment... and I see a ton of people walking in and out of the complex that I cannot get into yet. I do not know how they look like to approach.

on a similar topic, i get a lot of folks without pics who inquire about cuddling services and make the comment that they're an old guy, or big guy, or are afraid their looks might be off-putting. i usually tell them something along the lines of "that doesn't matter to me" because i don't go by looks. as a pro, i am happy to provide cuddling and my time and space to anybody who requests it. as long as we all follow the code of conduct. :)

  • I also ask for a picture. I don't care what you look like (really, I don't). But I provide the picture to my safety partner and I am also able to recognize you when we meet.

My concern is my pic being seen publicly related to this site even though a hack... I have no idea what their security measures are (I'm a programmer so I think about this stuff).

If sending a pic through message is secure enough, OK, not guaranteed to happen but it depends. I have been ignored by certain ladies through email or another site after a pic, though they tended to be younger... I consider myself better-looking in real life, and others have said the same and that I'm just not very photogenic, though I think I can tell when I'm looking 'creepy' or not. I have no idea how someone will judge me...
