Here is where the non-professional cuddlers are in the world (who were online in the last 9 months); note that the grouping isn't always consistent:

    Men

    Women

    Other genders

Members who don't identify as men or women (not included in the other maps).

  • awesome stats my man

  • Kind of disapointed with the amount of cuddlers in my country. Though other countries have even less. On the bright side, I only need one other person for a cuddle.

  • The US stats though! I’m really surprised lol

Well, it’s extremely low. I was hoping there was a better balance of genders. No wonder why there are so many cuddle deprived souls over here :) .. at an average I travel 2 hours both ways to fill me up with cuddles!

@stellaross What surprised you about the US stats? The percentage of women?

By the way, something worth noting is that we completely block a few countries in the firewall. And there are many countries that can access the website but are blocked from being able to register. This is related to security and scam mitigation.

The same map as above (all non-professional cuddlers in June 2018 who were online for the previous 9 months), zoomed in on different areas of the US:

(Note that there are inaccuracies - some people just put a state instead of a city as their location, so Google Maps uses a point somewhere in the middle of the state)

  • Hmm, quite interesting indeed in more ways than one. Thanks for sharing this info.

  • I am surprised about the rate in my country (Ecuador)

  • @gissela well, this data is 4 years old so it'd need to be updated to give a better idea of the numbers

  • @respectful - how much of a lift to get new and updated stats? Can I send you donuts? B)

  • @Sideon me and another member were just talking about that today!

I remember when @respectful posts were "Must See Forum!" 😄 When he posted everyone rushed to their devices and logged on with popcorn and everything!!!

  • @OhioMike - ...and now there's a popcorn shortage.

  • @Mike403 I'm more worried with my @respectful posting shortage! 🤣 Please come back and post!!!!!

  • @Sideon The way search works has changed a bit since I originally gathered the data, which makes it a bit trickier to do now. Donuts do sound nice though!

    @OhioMike Aww ... thank you. :)

Awwwwwww YAY!!!!!! I will catch a flight with @Sideon and bring a few dozen donuts STRAIGHT TO YOUR DOOR!! ♥️

Gosh I miss your “must see posts” just like @OhioMike mentioned. So good just to see your name pop up. ☺️

You are such a beautiful HUMAN!!!! 😊✨☀️

  • One person in Wyoming. Yup. Basically me and one other have joined, in four years. Bahaha Representin' the least-populated state, w00t! 😛

  • More cows live in Wyoming than people.

  • @Mike403 And pronghorn. 😆

  • @Mike403 and @SunsetSnuggles - don't forget the jackalopes.

  • @Sideon Oh yes, Wyoming has entire stores dedicated to Jackalopes. Those little buggers will nip your toes in your sleep when you're camping...or is that the grizzly bears just taste-testing?

  • I haven't been to Wyoming but I have been to Montana. I hired a car there, and asked the man about any local dangers I should be aware of. He said, "Your biggest risk is being pulled over by a cop because he's lonely." I wasn't sure I believed him .... right up until it happened.

  • [Deleted User]Btown (deleted user)

@CuddleDuncan I think it might be true. Several years ago I was pulled over by a Montana Patrolman. He told me to slow down and he spent over 20 minutes talking with me and my family. I thought he was going to invite us to dinner.

  • @CuddleDuncan @Btown
...There are cops in Montana? 🥴

  • [Deleted User]Btown (deleted user)

@SunsetSnuggles I think there might be only one which is why loneliness sets in.

  • @Btown Grizzlies got the rest. 😔
