What kind of cuddler are you? And Why?

Recently, I met one of the cuddlers great conversationalist and cuddler. As our conversations were flowing, for fun sake, she tried all different ways to convince/elude me into start attending cuddle parties. I feel, I am still not ready yet ;-) to be part of a cuddle party. I have always enjoyed 1-1 Cuddle moments that I find lot more filling, while lately I have started enjoying tandem cuddles too!

What type of cuddling you prefer? And why?

I go to cuddle parties to find people who actually want one on one, but didn't know professional cuddlers existed.

I only prefer 1-1 cuddles, I love intimate personal time together, recently thinking of trying something new with the tandem cuddles.... 2 is always better than1 !

Ive never tried anything other than 1 on 1. I could see how a tandem cuddle would be nice but the opportunity has never presented itself. Maybe one day...

I've done all of the above but personally, I believe one-on-one is my best kind. At least as a pro, I also am able to focus all of my energy on one person and they reap the benefits. I'm very energy sensitive and so I can probably help improve one's energy with a cuddle session better than i could with more than one person involved. Never would be opposed to more than one though if requested to attend.

I like cuddling two women at the same time, though rarely do it. Cuddle parties, not so much.

I did join a "spoon train" at the last Cuddle Sanctuary workshop I attended on 9/24/2016. I didn't enjoy it as much as a 1-on-1 cuddle with a pro. Like @stellarosass, 1-on-1s help me focus on 1 person's needs and desires.

I would say, I am not surprised at the voting results. I expected something on those lines with exception to 2 folks who decided to pick something way out of the norm or that was on purpose ;-) ..

There's a local cuddle party coming up next week, which I'm going to check out... we'll see how this goes!

I would love to hear @bleu around how the cuddle party experience goes or from anyone else who have been part of cuddle parties, how's that experience..

I put "I don’t care, as long as I get to cuddle " Even though I have never been to a cuddle party of cuddled tandem, those are experiences that I would be open and willing to try!!

@choicesvital I strongly prefer non-cuddle parties. They may vary from location to location, but I'm getting a stronger and stronger feeling that what goes on at cuddle parties (at least my local one) is NOT what it's supposed to be =( I enjoyed the one I went to, but multiple people told me it was the best they'd ever attended (meaning others aren't as good, ha), and I've heard stories of stuff happening that shouldn't be happening at an event... =( There were multiple people who really appreciated my presence though, so I will continue to attend whenever it fits in my schedule...

cuddle parties work great for me along with movie night. have a bunch of folks over with a large comforter on a carpeted floor to lay close together, cuddled up while watching a scary movie
not a lot of folks i know like scary movies though lol

@stellarosass , you gotta be kidding me.. I would never watch scary movies and that too while cuddling.. lol.. just the thought of it scares me.. lol but I do love floor setup for cuddling.. it gives so much open space to try cuddles!

Replace scary movies (sorry, also not a fan) with cartoons and you can count me in! ?

@stellarosass , well I used to love scary movies when I was a kid and used to enjoy scaring my sister but lately it's reversed, I start hallucinating after watching scary movies... Lol.. Lol

I so like the idea of cuddling more than one person, but would hate the relaxation level or hyper-focus on relaxed breathing to be lost with the second person. Maybe it would be enhanced., will have to try it to know,..to be continued.?

I don’t see myself ever participating in a cuddle party. But if I were to send a friend to one ? it would have to be highly structured, like some I’ve read about on this site, with a dress code, instructional time on permission asking and giving, explain what is never acceptable, and have group leaders who can be called upon to help when a pair need help navigating the route. Anything less sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen.

@mickcuddle I don't know if cuddle parties (the company) are different in other areas, but I would stay away from them from my own experience and what I hear in my region ;-) I feel like Cuddle Sanctuary is better for people looking for that, but I have no experience since it's in California O:-)

@ubergigglefritz There was one organized near me a month or so ago. It didn’t sound very structured to me, so I passed. Not certain whether it even came to pass.

*Let me clarify. I was just saying to stay away given what you were saying you were looking for. They are great events for lots of people. It just depends on what you are looking for.

I've done cuddling with professionals, with friends and partners, but never someone through a site like this who is a stranger, who isn't a professional. Long hugs, spooning, following each others breath, etc., I love being all entwined and letting each other sink into whichever pose we are in. I'd say one on one, but never having been to a cuddle party, who knows!

I'm super particular about who I cuddle with. I have to trust someone before I can cuddle them. I have a couple of friends who I enjoy being sandwiched between (one guy and one gal), but I've known them for a long time so I trust them. The last time I tried cuddling with someone (it was a guy), I didn't know all that well he tried making a move on me and it obliterated my trust with cuddle partners, especially guys. In general, I enjoy cuddling 1 on 1, even better if the person is asexual and I can trust them. I already have trust issues with people in an intimate situation like that. But once they've gained my trust I'm just a little puppy!

Probably I am slightly surprised as I expected at least couple picking 3rd option in voting but thus far thats the only at 0% vote.. well we are still counting the votes
