Patience, please.

Hello all.

I was asked today to do a cuddle session today, hosting in my home, and I suppose the other person wanted me to be immediately ready to meet even though we hadn't established a time. I did mention I just got home from a long, bad trip out of state. I did say I would get back to them ASAP, but I really needed time to fix some things and get ready.

Well... here I am, problems managed, my place tidy and set for a guest, showered, candles lit, ready to offer a smile and a hug to someone who I know was having a rough day...

... Only to find that in the time I spent getting ready for them, just as I was about to give them my address and say 'come on over' they deleted their account. :\ To that client, I'm terribly sorry that the wait was so upsetting, and I sincerely hope your day gets better, but please understand--if you ask someone to host a session, they do need time to prepare and make sure they can meet all of your anticipated needs.

I'm not trying to call them out, I just hope they see this so they understand, I wasn't stalling or ignoring them, simply busy as I said I would be. Something to keep in mind, all: If you want to schedule a session with anyone, even a pro, it's very, very unlikely they'll be immediately ready the minute you ask, so please, have patience with us.

(xD Also, if anyone else in my area wants a quick session today... do you like pumpkin waffle scented candles?)

    @Lorelei Sorry to hear that ! Seems they may have been a little suspect to begin with if they wanted you to be ready and willing on the spot like that and then right away deleted their account. I am not so sure I would consider this a loss for you as you never know how that could have gone had you met

    Yes. Last minute session requests from new clients is usually suspect, in my opinion... :-/

    @Lorelei Last minute immediate need plus impatience equals a bad cuddle pairing in most cases. You were perfectly fine in trying to be accommodating, but very rarely do those type of "appointments" turn out well due to lack of prep time.

    I need pumpkin waffle candles!!
