I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with a pro falling asleep during a session? If you’re a pro, have you ever fallen asleep during a session and if you’re a client, has your pro ever fallen asleep. What are your feelings on it?
I have had a few pros fall asleep. The last pro I cuddled with fell asleep for most of Kill Bill lol I actually think it’s kinda sweet when pros fall asleep. It shows comfort and trust. This was the first time I had seen this particular pro and she had told me she had never fallen asleep with a client before. I felt like I must have done something right in that case to get her to that level of relaxation. Either that or I was boring ;-p
I have struggled twice. The first time, I had let the person know in advance I was tired. It was my birthday, so I wasn't putting a lot of pressure or stress on myself, but he really wanted a session that day. The second time, I switched positions, and moved around to wake up. The rest of the session, I was fine. We all get sleepy sometimes, but you have to be professional and take care of it. If I actually fell asleep for any measurable time, I don't think I would ask for the hours slept as fully paid. It's not an overnight. He's more than welcome to, if he's like you, and thoroughly enjoyed the time. But I wouldn't require it :-/
@Morpheus I've never fallen asleep during a session because of safety concerns. There was a pro who cuddled the same guy I did about a week before her. He was a little bit of a boundary pusher with me but I was pretty firm and able to keep things within my comfort zone. She ended up falling asleep when she cuddled him and woke up to find a finger in her p****. He got banned but it only reinforced my conviction to keep the eyes open. Also, I think it would be cheating the client. You guys pay good money for our time and we should be all yours when we're "on". I'm pretty playful by nature so I usually don't get drowsy during a cuddle but I've had a few clients fall asleep esp after a massage during a long cuddle session.
@Morpheus Of course since you are the God of Dreams it might just be inevitable
I never actually fell asleep, but a client did. He put on rain sounds, which I find very relaxing, and used to take naps to as a kid, so it was hard not to fall asleep, and he ended up giving me a really nice backrub... no one else has ever made me feel that comfortable in a session and shortly after I ended up as little spoon, he started snoring. I was touched by the amount of trust and so comfy, I got pretty close to nodding off because of how comfortable I was, but I just couldn't. I wouldn't feel right.
@MissX That's horrifying. I guess I can consider myself lucky by comparison.
A few of my favorite cuddle pros have all fallen asleep. Some briefly, some a little longer, 15-30 minutes. To me it represents love and trust. If a client hires for an overnight session, wouldn't sleep be an expected part of the session?? Of course a higher level of trust for both parties would have to exist, but I know a couple of pros with whom I would have no issue with it. And a few have made the offer which I hope to accept in the future.
Definitely a part of overnight sessions, ha. For me, that's the only time when it's acceptable. Otherwise I would feel terrible just sleeping away their time =P ha. But I specifically structure my overnight sessions to allow and encourage sleep time. Most of the time overnight sessions are a specific stretch of time, so I feel like that would discourage each person getting enough sleep. Part of the benefit of an overnight cuddle is that cuddling gives you a great night's sleep, which is hard to do if you have to get up after 6 hours ;-) To each his or her own though... I still haven't had any official overnight sessions, even after I changed the pricing to be a much better deal.
I don’t fall asleep, but I do close my eyes during a session if it’s quiet. Clients do fall asleep sometimes especially if they’re seeing cuddling as a method to treat insomnia
