What should one do?

There aren’t many cuddlers in the area where I live, just a few and I don’t ever hear back from them. I do hear back from people who are further away. It’s hard for me to travel. What would be the best approach? Would it be appropriate to offer to pay for a place to stay if someone is willing to make the journey to where I am or would that come across as being too forward? Just wanted to hear some thoughts.

Put it in your profile, that you're willing to travel or subsidize their travel. Then talk to them. As usual, an introduction and some conversation, before you drop the invite, seems to get a better response, but still does not guarantee it.

    Galowglass said it perfectly.

You could also get an airbnb somewhere in the middle. Some in my area are as low as $29.

  • What I would be extremely cautious of is offering to pay for anything for some one, be it their travel, lodging, etc unless you really get to know them first and can trust that they are going to follow through so you aren't stuck with a bill and nothing to do . Also don't send the person money directly . All common sense stuff that I am certain you already know so I'm probably stating the obvious to you

  • Travel arrangements sounds good way to go about it. I also suggest getting to know folks prior in one way or another. some pros for example offer phone or Skype sessions where you have a long-distance cuddle session. great way to get to know folks prior to meeting them in person.

  • @JacobCarl how far away are the people that are responding back to you, and are they enthusiasts or pros? Both of those can be huge factors on what may be an appropriate approach for you.

I have had no luck either so far. Just no one in my area at all. I have a pending session lined up but I am finding out until they happen not too count on it. One pro did not show up and another couple never get back to me.

Make lots of friends everywhere, you never know where you might find new snuggles. I am willing to travel about 2, 2.5 hours each way for a travel fee. It's in my bio. Many professions will or should already have fees stated. If it says for public or guest on their bios, they are willing to meet or travel, so, I would think ok to ask. You should find that the more experienced ones will have fuller info and more details in the bio. I wish people understood that although I'm a professional, I do it because I care about what I do and the people I do it for. As that said professional, those of us who are, take it seriously, respect people, put planning, effort, time, patience, and love, into making this a whole, and healing experience. That is why we are worth paying. I wish I could take and hold and heal and help everyone that I can't reach because they are either too far or won't let themselves because they have some bias against paying. It's hard for us professionals to prove ourselves as honorable and trustworthy when we don't get a chance. Also keep posting in forums, maybe look into people in the nearby cities. I and maybe others, try to post when I go out of town, so maybe there's a chance to meet people farther away. Maybe put a post out ahead of time if you plan to visit an area, and consider meeting people from there for cuddles, or see who's looking for cuddles in the forums and make friends, plan a visit... Good luck, Happy cuddling!
