I booked my first cuddle session and I’m a little nervous which I think is understandable the first time around. I guess my main question is if anyone has had any bad experiences as far as safety and everything going smoothly overall?
Hey @enjoying Congrats on booking your first session. I've had a lot of sessions with a lot of different people. Some were better than others, but I have never had occasion to feel my safety was at risk. Keep your wits about you as you would anytime you aren't home alone. Other than that, I'd say relax and have a good time!
Good experiences so far for me. I've cuddled four women, one at a time per session, of course.
My first experience was great. I was feeling a bit cautious but met the guy in a public place and immediately felt at ease with him. He seemed very genuine, open, polite, respectful. We chatted for quite some time, the conversation was very easy. So, I went to his place and we had a really nice cuddle session. He would check in with me periodically and ask me if I was comfortable and he was a good cuddler. I could not have asked for a better experience.
I hit it right off with my first snuggle buddy. We met in public for the first time so that we could get to know each other. And to see if we were compatible conversionally. My first snuggle experience was amazing!! I was VERY nervous because I’m a pretty cautious person. That being said my first snuggle exceeded any expectations I had. He was super sweet about me being new at all of this. I felt free to ask him anything about snuggling and he never talked down or made me feel dumb about my questions. Once we actually got to the touching part of snuggling he continually checked on my comfort level. He was very respectful and we discussed everything as we went along. He made sure that I got the types of snuggling that I preferred. He was very nurturing. I think that most on here are really looking for that human touch and contact. It’s very easy to tell who’s not because they’ll ask you to break the rules. I think we should all be a little nervous the first time meeting someone. If that feeling doesn’t go away and you don’t become comfortable as you continue talking, just listen to that feeling. Thank you very much to that snuggle buddy
Just gonna pipe in and say I agree with all you wrote. I'm glad you had a good time and I love reading about newbies who are lucky enough to have a good wholesome experience for their first cuddle.
I never worried about my safety, now when he said Trina, the session is over he worried about his. I didn’t want it to end! ?
@gentlesnuggle Cute answer!
All the people I have cuddled through this site had been amazing:)
@enjoying I predict that your nervousness dissipate quickly once you begin your session. I have also had only amazingly wonderful experiences with the ones that I have met on this site. The only “negative” experiences were failed attempts at meetings that failed due to forces beyond our control. Or the ones that ignored my attempts at scheduling a session. But the ones I have met have made cuddling something now very hard to resist. That is one side effect you may decide to consider.
You describe yourself as "kind, courteous, loving and compassionate"... In which case those qualities will be highly valued by your cuddle partner.
You also describe yourself as "married"... Don't be disheartened if some people choose not to respond to your profile ad, but in your dialogue with potential cuddle partners, be absolutely honest - and that quality too will be valued.
They will ask "why", when you apparently already have someone to cuddle. And while the guidance on this site is probably to share your cuddling intentions with your spouse/partner, that may (for one reason or another) be impractical or impossible.
The people to be honest with are a) yourself, and b) serious responders to your ad.
I wish you well.
