Im new to this, I just found out about it and wanted to know more. how does it work? Is it really as simple as it seems?

Yeah.  Is that easy!  Most difficult part is filling cuddle buddy close by!  Just agree on time/place/limits, and enjoy.  
Have to put a disclaimer here tho.    Hate to say I have not found my local cuddled yet.. Geez!!
