No call no show

I see that people set appts and don’t show which is rude but when you set with a “PROFESSIONAL” and no call, promise they show never show, don’t answer calls, etc. Is there a record system, or rating system other than karma? Did I miss anything? Time is already wasted other than not calling them anymore what to do?

Well besides negative karma you could report them to site administration. Go to their profile click on the ... box and hit report. Hopefully you have some messages on site indicating you are going to meet.

It is also the limit of what you can reasonable do, unless you have a contract of another person, there is no compensation for lost time or bruised egos. I've been there.

Penalty should be take away pro status for 30 days.

So, they no-show and you put them on the street. Cause that's the impact it would have for some pros.

I like the ideas but I believe they will have the same happen to them.

Another pro texted 1.5 hours into 2 hour session to say phone not working, not able to arrive, can do another date n timings. I am not sure I would want to hire room, when might no show again

It pays to have conversations before you try to meet. Flakes will out themselves. Confident, non-professionals will show their confidence and work through the arrangements with you. Nervous folks will reveal (Keep communicating till you're both comfortable or drop it and move-on). Pros will act profressional.

In any case, getting to know them before making any cuddling plans, just makes good sense. I would not recommend hiring a room unless you have high-certainty that the intent to follow-through is there. I would tell you not to do that at all until you have met over coffee, through skype, or something. You'll get more info by adding the audio and visual connection, than is possible through text-alone.

If you get stood up by a Pro, you can report them from their profile, if you want.
You might want to do some more communicating before jumping to that action though.
The choice is up to you.

Unprofessional professionals is a problem on here. I have heard lots of stories from clients I have seen or just people I talk to outside my area. This should be a big priority for this site, as they reflect on all of us and the quality of the website in general. Word of mouth travels... :-(

Karma is always an option! Yes some folks might do the cowardly thing and block you so that you cannot leave a “no show” negative review of them but that’s where you bring in the reporting. I’ve had my share of folks block me after they didn’t show up or cancelled last minute (and technically, folks are asked to pay a cancellation fee to professionals when they cancel). Blocking after being a noshow is reportable and most likely grounds to be banned I believe. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I think knowing that you need to go back and forth messaging three complete times, that should be minimum before booking so Karma can be left for a no show appt by either party.

@happybear A little back and forth is a good way to be confident that you won’t NEED to leave negative Karma. If you get stung by a no-show, whether as/by a pro or as/by an enthusiast ( in other words, no matter your role) shame on you. I have an upcoming vacation, and I’ve made a new friend on the site. We have had four or five messages in each direction, and we are just talking about meeting for coffee or something to see if a cuddle feels right for us both. Anybody, Enthusiast or Professional who will lie down with you for a cuddle should know a little about you and vice Versa. It may be platonic, but it’s still pretty intimate.

I always confirm the appointment a few days before the cuddler and I are supposed to meet. That way I know she knows the appointment has been scheduled. I have never had a no show. A few who came late but never a now show.

@uj178 if it was a booked appointment then you need to report the pro. It is against the rules.

this is one of the most ridiculous frustrating irritating things I have had to deal with from clients. it is so disrespectful and inconsiderate of a person’s time, effort, and energy. professionals set aside time out of their workdays or time off at client request to spend with the client then to not show without so much as even a message or notification of cancelation... they need to grow up and take responsibility/accountability for themselves. I am highly hesistant and unlikely to accept a second booking.

People who don't turn up and don't respond to messages should always be reported. We need them off the site.

One of the many advantages of making the booking on the site (which you are supposed to do anyway) is that you can at least leave karma with details.
