Grow local cuddle community

I noticed we struggled to grow in my area, then we had a small growth and now we are stalled again. Any tips for ways to expand our community? CL is gone, not sure of an alternative... kind of scared of that honestly. Please shout out viable options if you have any. I would love to see CC thrive in my area and I'm sure others would appreciate the same.

I think Facebook would be a great avenue for this. Maybe contact a couple community groups, ask if you can post ads related to CC there. There's also Meetup.com which I know pros and Cuddle Party facilitators use to advertise their services - and an enthusiast will most certainly get lots of attention in a space like that when most others are charging.

I remember there was a discussion al9ng these lines a while ago, and some users created brochures to hand out in person or drop in mailboxes, can't remember who did that. Can anyone fill in the blanks for me?

In my area there is one professional who has stickers for her website. I ran into one at a stop light and thought 'what a great idea'. I think WE should get some stickers and decals we can order online to also help support the site.

The CC scene in my area is basically dead too, I've been here a year on and off and only had a coffee meet with 5 people or less. And the cuddle scene outside the social networks is a really tight-knit, cliquey group of like 20-40 people from the Canadian Association of Professional Cuddling.

As much as the digital world is great for spreading awareness, word of mouth is still surprisingly effective.

  • Seattle is where I grew up. A few years back Cuddling took off. It's amazing. Platonic yet a bit of romance. Facebook name: Bonnie Johnson Tempe AZ. Look me ☝. ✌
