They make these sites so people can pay others to cuddle them or people can be paid to cuddle, but does anybody actually pay someone else to cuddle them? Let me know if you do or don't pay...I am curious to see how accurate these sites really are with their information.

Yes, CC allows professional cuddlers, and yes, we do get paid by clients to provide this service which is entirely platonic, no convolution. It isn't an exactly booming business, because this is a niche community and thus a niche service. Anyone coming in expecting to get rich is sorrily mistaken and misled.

Mind you, the site was not started with professional cuddlers in mind and is more geared towards enthusiasts. Pros were allowed on the site after they started showing up in large numbers, and so it was thought to allow them in with approval to try and curb anybody who is actually offering illegal services under the radar such as incognito sex workers, et al.

What I find amusing is sometimes I will click on random new profiles just to see what they have to say as a new enthusiast or pro. Several have claimed they wanted to start doing this because they thought it would be a “fun job.” I actually wrote some names down to go back and see if they had been banned yet.

@CreativeCuddles Those poor souls lol. I hope they didn't buy into the hype elsewhere and quit their "not-so-fun" job... XD Folks really are out here thinking cuddling is steady 9-5 work when you're just starting out.

I don't think it's steady 9 - 5 work after you're established either is it?? It's not an easy job @EmoPikachu, you have to put up with things that you may not want to do in your personal life because the men who pay need the affection.

They pay often because they have a hard time for multiple reasons finding someone to cuddle them for free. As a professional you must be willing to put up with personalities, behaviors, sizes-colors-shapes that you may personally not want to cuddle with for fun. But they are professional and as such need to have a greater tolerance for ALL WALKS OF LIFE not just the ones who fit your standard of attraction.

In fact as a professional the attraction factor shouldn't come into it at all. A masseuse gives massages to people he considers grotesque as well as people he would enjoy dating. Same with a hair dresser or a chiropractor. As a professional attractiveness shouldn't figure into the equation at all. In fact all the professional occupations I just listed would be out of work if they took clients solely on looks. Honestly I believe that's why so many professionals show up, have a rude awakening about the business-like attitudes of the men wanting to book and refuse for one reason or the other to cuddle if that persons looks aren't up to par or they came off as rude. The men booking are business, they are planning to pay for a service and as such don't feel the need to be overly attentive to the professional. Enthusiasts or new professionals aren't prepared for that and probably feel offended by the rude behavior. Disappearing a short time later. The job is distasteful to them. It takes a special individual to be a professional and not every professional is that type.
In fact the professionals won't admit it but they do have personal preferences, they will reach out to someone they consider attractive to recharge their cuddle bank. But the long term pro's on here don't discriminate and they do get paid to lay on a bed with someone.

@PaulaDahla I imagine it's 9-5 for the ones who open their own shops or spaces which we know are few and far in between, and even then, some probably have additional work still. I know I get weeks of radio silence when I barely advertise and other months like February where I'm booked out the ying yang because of surrounding Hallmark holidays like Valentine's Day. Let's just say I'm glad my husband said it was OK to take a good long break after leaving a bad job last year... If I relied on cuddling to pay our bills or rent between back then and switching to the job I got in September, we'd have been evicted long ago.

I'm kind of surprised. I thought professional cuddlers would be busy to the point where it would be a full time job of at least 40 hours a week if that's what they wanted. I suppose the demand does not outsrtip the supply as much as I thought.

@snugbuddy There are certainly folks who cuddle full time, but I'd venture to say there are few who can do that without anything else paying their bills. Some cuddlers definitely have more active schedules because they are able to travel or live in a busier area or country but I live in a dead zone. Canada doesn't have quite the same demand as the states due to a number of factors including population density.

Even cuddling full time wouldn’t be 40 hours a week though. I’ve done 11-15 hours a week and considering the wonderful work it is that involves energy and emotional labor, it’s a full time job at that point trust me. I love what i do but if anybody is lookin to do more than 20 hours a week, they might find themselves a little drained. Overnights might vary the hours but if you think about it, doing 4 hours a day would be like a regular job because of the prep it takes in between... it’s not just show up, cuddle and go, especially if you’re either commuting place to place or hosting in your own place.

I wish there were more newbie providers and clients who understood this too. So many people think the money is for the time only, or it doesn't go back into the business. The Bon Vital lotion I use for foot massages alone is $12 for a pitiful 6oz (but MAN is it ever good stuff!) . Plus it's $100+ per month for me to use public transport, and whenever my husband drives me to clients, we use gas which is starting to become a luxury price in Alberta. A full tank on a fuel-efficient car is $70 every few days. Then there's balloons and beachballs for breathing exercises. I might spend $10-$30 a pop on a beachball that my client gets to keep for reducing their stress. Incense, scent plug-ins, the list just goes on and a lot of it even comes out of my own pocket if I don't have a lot of bookings for a quarter.

Look closer is the keyword here!

@snugbuddy Nope, we can share that information. It's even available to the public on the pro application as far as I remember. The pro fees are what allow the site to remain free for others. It's 15% of earnings from each session.

@PaulaDahla and I appreciate your no-filter outlook on many of the discussions here in the forums. While we need more compassion, we also need less sugar-coating! ❤️

Much love, I'd certainly reciprocate! I often hate distance. ? There are so many quality people on here who I wish lived closer. I have to do a lot of weeding out in my city, and on here it's so dead lol. It's got to the point that I've been advertising the site online, even just to get people interested in free cuddle buddies. Three new accounts today, but then they're gone offline within an hour.

@JasonCuddles you a fortunate you don't have to pay. I don't know the ratio either but I'd say most men looking for women on this site have to pay. There are many more men here than non professional women.

I am only using this site to try and find cuddle buddies. If I was going to pay for it I believe there are probably better places to go. That said I'm not against it or above it and I think there most definitely are people that pay for it.
