@charmy92 your initial question and then everyone posting about Indian food I went grocery shopping this morning and tomorrow will be making curried chicken with lentils and cauliflower! I will post pics tomorrow!

I love sushi (especially unagi/eel), Indian food (chicken saag, mmm), and Vietnamese (Pho). I have yet to try Korean and Phillipino cuisine but definitely want to soon. Ooh! There's also a place by me that has the most amazing pickle soup. It sounds weird but I promise it's delicious. It's basically like a potato soup with bits of pickle in it.
I love Thai food.
I cant eat sushi. Its so nasty to me
I eat both Thai and Sushi. Thai is my favorite. I also like Pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup.
@mickcuddle I absolutely love pho too, but I can't eat it with the tripe. I pick it out and stick it in my husband's bowl, LOL. Tripe just traumatises me. It's really great for getting protein, but I have bad memories of its stench. Growing up we had tenants renting our main level, and they boiled enough tripe for me to be completely turned off forever.

@Catloaf I don’t mind tripe, but my local Pho doesn’t put much of it in the combo Pho, and has other recipies on the menu with other meats and proteins, and no tripe. I like a broth that clears my sinuses, so I usually add a bunch of Thai style chili sauce to bring up the heat. @charmy92 Tripe is a by-product of the butchering of cattle or sheep, the lining of the stomach of these animals. I wouldn’t miss it if it never came into my lunch again

@charmy92 here are your pics, all ingredients cooked about 6 hours in crockpot and final dish! It’s Yummy!!
It has: Cauliflower rice Chicken Potatoes Lentils A little oil Onion Jalapeño Purées tomatoes, petite cut (I’m lazy I buy in cans!). Unflavored yogurt Basmati rice Curry powder, ginger, fenugreek seeds, pepper, salt, garlic, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric, I forgot I sprinkle a little bit of raw coconut on top.

@charmy92 it was amazing! I don’t typically throw all the spices in like I did but I knew I wouldn’t be home most of the night. I like to brown them and bring out the flavor and then add everything but it still taste great!
@tribaldancer I am 50 and have never had any kind of crab. I have had lobster 1x and I love shrimp but never crab, oysters, or one other thing I can’t even think of the name now! Ugh

@charmy92 Then u don’t know what you are missing!! Despite the intimidating looks Dungy crab is succulent and sweet. Better than lobster I my opinion. But then again I spent copious amounts of time in Alaska!!

@tribaldancer that’s ok she probably hasn’t had it either! I know she will be having Indian but know she won’t be having tripe! I was dating a guy off and on 5 years and we would always go to these “crab houses” where they put brown paper bag kinda table cloths on the table and then put buckets there and the first time I went I said what the hell kind of place is this. I had never seen anyone eat them things. Bang on them to open, dig the meat out and get the stuff dripping down your face, all over your fingers that old bay that I think smells God awful! It just always seemed like so much work for a little piece of crab. ?
