Clearing things up

I am tired of guys trying to blow off foot fetish as not being sexual. If you chub up because you get turned on rubbing or smelling from your fixation with feet it’s sexual not platonic. I am not here for that.
Fetish is define as a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc.
I had someone say fetish is not sexual thing read the definition above.
When it’s not sexual example
Now if I’m course we cuddle your feet ache I will gladly rub feet and vice versa if I worked 10 hrs and my feet ache rubbing feet is aloud but again this wouldn’t be for sexual gratification.
Just very tired of guys wasting my time on this.

Agreed. The only way the definition of 'fetish' is "not sexual" is when someone is using the word as a hyperbolic figure of speech. Example, "I have a bit of a Grey's Anatomy fetish. I love that show and talk about it way too much." That person doesn't actually have a fetish for the show because they aren't getting turned on when watching it, they just obsess over it a little much. A fetish isn't even necessarily an obsession either. So I think it's a word that, because of its sexual undertones, shouldn't be used so loosely to describe things we like or love. That might be where these guys are trying to poke the fire, but intelligent folks know better.

I get a lot of side-eyes from people because of my offering of foot massage when really it's just an endearing act of service. I have given my mother and stepfather foot massages since I was 5 years old. I still am the go-to person after she's had a long day at the gym. Some people just read way too much into things.

  • I totally agree. I have no problems giving or receiving foot massage just keep it platonic. Just understand I do not judge people on it.
