So im really bad at starting convo how do you start a cuddle without sounding wierd or like just come here and hug me
any ideas
Personally, i try not to start with talking about cuddling at all. I would rather get to know who the person is first. It feels weird to me to cuddle someone i don't know anything about and whether or not I like them as a person. So I try to find out what their outlook on life is...whether they are a kind person, whether I feel comfortable around them and whether they feel comfortable around me. I can't speak on behalf of anyone else but I need to feel like I have a connection (not like a spark or anything romantic). It's more like evaluating whether they are the kind of person I would want to be around. So I may talk about cuddling as an ice breaker in general (though since they know I'm here for cuddling purposes) I rather go with the getting to know them approach
Hmm. Good question. Me, I usually randomly visit lots of different people's profiles and wait for something to pop up at me: like maybe their favorite show is something I've watched and liked, or their "About me" is really snarky, or they've got something cool in one of their pictures. Anything that catches my attention.
Then I message them about the thing, whatever it is. Then, if they like, they can talk with me about random stuff and get comfortable with me as a person before the possibility of meeting in Real Life gets brought up.
I should note that this doesn't work terribly well for me, though. Most people don't respond. Those who do often just don't get along with my personality as well as I'd thought they might (which is a thing I guess it is better to figure out before committing resources to a real life meeting). I generally end up having the best conversations with people who live too far away for a convenient meet-up.
Still. My two cents.
In England we usually start a conversation by discussing the weather. Like "I wonder how long it will be before it stops raining". Alternatives could be "It's really nasty outside today isn't it?" or "Do you think we'll see the sun any time soon?". Of course now that I'm in Arizona, it's more usual to say things like "God, how much hotter can it get?" or "What do you keep your thermostat set to?".
Personally, I like to run in circles around people while screaming “I Melt with You” by Modern English so loudly that, before too long, my voice gives out. At that point I expect my cuddle partner to be ready for some conjoined flesh.
I try to have pictures that invoke potentially something in common with someone. Be it hiking or lover of one eyed cats. ?
I hope it creates an easier sense of who I am and what we may have in common to lead towards a potential meet. I love when people message me asking about things on my profile, on my photos, and the forum. It really helps me also initiate conversations easier and with comfort. Maybe it helps with other cuddlers. ?
Earlier today I met up with pro from here for coffee n chat, no cuddle as in public. When we were going back to carpark, I asked if theres place we can go 4 togetherness touch that we could share n there was not, did ask if session could be going ahead at another time if suitable place is found. Yes
Your overthinking they are on this site for a reason just get to know them then ask to cuddle.
@DarrenWalker - " I generally end up having the best conversations with people who live too far away for a convenient meet-up."
Ain't it the truth!
duh! this is a Cuddlecomfort portal, people is gathering here looking for cuddles... How could be awkward to start asking what is the best cuddle position that they like? If they get scared by that... Then how did you achieve to have the meeting in the first place, ha ha ha ha this is so funny!!
