@Jay222 , I've noticed that also lately. Contacted site and said they are doing updates on pro accounts and eliminating those accounts that aren't up to date i think. I've been here awhile and I've seen nearly 200 accounts leave in a few days including one I was currently talking to just now . Whatever is going on its definitely fast!
I have counted 7 today and 11 in the last few days that deactivated or closed their accounts in my area. These were active cuddlers and some I have used recently.
I actually miss counted, it's more like 300 for me now!
Can any pro cuddlers give us any insight as to what is happening?
We have now finished de-activating Pro accounts that were either inactive or had not made required changes to their account for newly introduced booking features. As expected, the majority of Pros are now offline.
That ultimately means clients having a better experience because they are more likely to be contacting those who are serious and active. It should also mean more business for the remaining Pros.
A side affect of this process is many people will experience their Friends list reduce in number.
I know some of the ones that were deactivated were active, so what were the required changes?
That had to be a lot of profiles.
Link a payment card to their account as the payment method and process for the 15% fee changed.
They can still do this and restore their account.
Another side effect is it seems the non pro's are more prevalent.
Are pros charged 15% for every cuddle session? I thought there was a flat monthly fee? Just curious how it works.
Is a significant increase in business for the remaining pros expected ? I would think that their business would stay the same . A determined client would scare up a booking , from whoever would accept .
@OhioMike unfortunately, most non pro's are inactive.
@Jay222 Yes, 15% for each session but no monthly fee. Male pros are on a different business model, they pay a monthly fee but no percentage. That's based on lack of market demand and us still trying to make it worthwhile to accept them.
@cuddlerforu24 It's just a theory. I often hear about clients getting frustrated with lack of responses from Pros. Many of those probably give up and leave. With less serious Pros now de-activated, I suspect we'll retain more clients as a result of their interactions being naturally channelled to the better quality Pros.
@Jay222 correct! It's just with all the pro accounts being addressed , my search area shows the non pro accounts more prevalent. Without all the pro profiles now they are showing up in greater percentage now. Good thought though? What is the definition of an inactive non pro? Hmmmmmm
@OhioMike I would say an inactive non pro is someone who has not been online for at least 2 months. Just my opinion.
In my search area I did a quick count. In the past 10 hours 40 cuddllers in my search criteria were online. Nearly 60% are non pro's now. That's eye opening!
@OhioMike Just checked my area (within 100 miles) only 4 non pros in the last week and only 8 in the last month.
Central ohio is interesting location. Columbus is 14th or 15th largest city and it's said nearly 60%of country population lives within 500 miles from here. That's a lot of people. I travel often so my criteria is set at the 300 miles search. It's just interesting how the non pro cuddlers now outnumber the pros!

ZERO pros in the Bay area now, and I increased the radius to 300 miles. Wow.
I don't do searches very often, but there are now only about 12 pros within 20 miles of me. Increasing the distance to 50 miles makes little difference. And I live in one of the largest metro areas in the US. The question now is will the remaining pros raise their rates since there is less competition? Looks like all of the pros I sent messages to and never received back a response are now gone.
Will the client still be able to have a choice in payment method? Cash, pay pal or vermo? Or will another way of payment be acceptable now?
Yes. The payment method change is only for when Pros pay CC. So clients can still pay Pros in the ways they did previously.
I have had a couple contact me that are active but deactivated because the new policies with a credit card just was not worth it. I do not know what they are referring to but they were very good pros.
This is a terrible change. Thanks a lot Cuddle Comfort. There’s hardly anyone left on the site in my area. There’s not even a point to contacting non pros if you’re a man.
@Mark, The rates many cuddlers were charging were already high, especially when travel fees were added. Which in my case, kept me from cuddling more frequently due to the cost. Now it seems some may be raising there fees even higher to cover the 15% charge per cuddle. So they are pricing themselves out of reach for many of us...or for sure less frequency of cuddling. Ex - very few pros in my area. And the ones that are within reach seem to only be guests. By the time they add travel fees you are looking at 125.00-140.00 per hour. That is beyond me....especially on a regular basis. I am only offering my perspective: if you would consider a flat fee monthly per cuddler and suggest a lower going rate (or at least a cap on rates), I think in the long run you would keep more clients which in turn keeps more cuddlers in business = more money for the site.
@Snuggler21685 I am not happy about it either because some of these ladies would appear to be inactive but when you send a message they respond. A few have already voiced their displeasure. This will make the site less attractive for me.
Another thought......with all the pro accounts recently deactivated, I'm sure the non pro's have to be getting increased attention. Fortunately the limits to contacting newer profiles is limited by the site. That was good planning.
