Book Teaser

It is astonishing all the going ons in the world of cuddling. It is both immensely beautiful and deeply dark. What happens behind these closed doors? Euphoric highs stronger than drugs? Yes. Illegal activities? Yes. Healing from trauma? Yes. Freedom from social isolation? Yes. Healthy relationships being formed? Yes. This book talks about it all.

I have been a professional cuddle buddy for two years now... and boy do I have some stories. I want to challenge you to open your mind to the reality of what is happening in this growing industry and see the vision that the world of professional cuddling can obtain by lifting the veil and exposing the psychology and science beneath the surface of these sessions. If you embrace the idea of a thriving consent culture, it may just even happen. The tools you need will be taught here my friend. Spread the word. No. Seriously. I mean, only if you want to, but I believe deep down you just might.

Together, we can reconnect as a society and band together to start healing the pains of our realities. We need to break past our fixed mindsets and embrace growth, learning, forgiveness, and a future full of happier, healthier and thriving individuals. Choose a different template of life for yourself as an act of self love. Add value to your own life and share your abundance of love and joy to the world. It can happen you know. Dare to experiment past your beliefs and lift the cloud over your head. Escape the darkness.

By the time you have finished this book, you will understand the biological benefits to cuddling, will learn the psychology behind this touch therapy, and you will understand the causes of arousal and accompanying behaviors both respectful and unfortunately… sometimes even violating.

In addition, you should also be able to notice a shift in your perspective and things in your life really changing in ways you never thought possible. Everything is a learnable skill. Truly.

    Do you have an editor?

This community has a lot of light (and dark) stories to tell, but it'd be nice if they could be told without confusing imagery involving visions of worlds being obtained by lifting veils and exposing things below the surface of other things, tools being taught (rows of hammers and screwdrivers behind classroom desks, anyone?), sharing things you have to the world, and so on.

This could be an excellent book, but it needs an editor badly. I can't be that editor, alas, but you should look for a good one! The good ones are worth every penny.

  • I intend to. I want to be extra careful in writing this ethically and to be as educational as I can so that we can heal the flaws in this industry.

@TisDoney: It will, I am sure, be beautiful. You write like you're speaking, which makes for individual, interest-catching writing. A bit difficult to polish, but once that's done it'll sparkle.

  • I have to raise the funds first or dedicate more time in marketing. I know so much that can help this growing community.

  • 'Industry' just seems the wrong word to use to describe cuddling, even professional cuddling. But then I'm English and we use words differently.

  • @TisDoney I am excited for you and your endeavor! I think shedding light on this "industry" is fitting.

Sadly I see the large number of newer female members go from enthusiast to pro within their first week - I don't think they all came here with the intent of making money, but consider it and decide why not? Why cuddle for free when it appears people will pay me? I also think they don't realize the amount of work that goes into being a professional cuddler and then poof! They are gone, possibly missing the point why they came here in the first place, to find their own personal cuddle buddy for touch therapy.

So I think "industry" does fit, churn them out and let them crash and burn or learn to fly on their own... Hopefully your book will address the idea of right and wrong reasons to cuddling and also become a pro cuddler.

  • Thank you for posting this @TisDoney. I think boundary breaking is the biggest issue here, and talking about it directly is a very helpful thing to do. I'd be very interested to see the strategies you come up with for dealing with it.
