I hear a lot of girls say that they like having their hair played with during cuddling. What exactly does that mean?
Last time someone told me that I basically just wound up scratching her head. Don't feel like I got it right ?
I ended up getting married, but it was 35 years ago, I could be confused. I could check with her new husband if you like.
For me, hair playing is kinda like petting. Unless you know how to run your fingers through it softly, just staying on top and stroking it is very nice.
I like having you run your fingers through it like a comb, brushing it out of my face, off my forehead with your hand, petting like you would down a dog or cats back, also there is a massage technique that feels really good which is to grab a handfull of hair right near the scalp and gently pull. I love all of that.
First you should ask if they would like that because some women may not, especially if they have just had their hair done. I like to spread my fingers apart and use them as a wide-toothed 'comb' like @MarthSpeaks suggests. You can do this with both hands sliding them up the back of the woman's neck and then pulling them backwards and outwards though her hair. So you can massage her neck and play with her hair at the same time. You need to be gentle and avoid pulling too harshly on any tangles.
Personally, the light “finger-combing” of hair is nice, but strangely on the edge of platonic/romantic.
Hair pulling is foreplay, especially as far as my Viking genetics are concerned.
But, like all things between two people negotiating a new relationship and boundaries, communication and respect are the all mighty things.
When cuddling a person with long hair I like to gather a fair portion of it and slide it down my throat. I don’t chew on the hair, unless the person asks for that. After a few hours I regurgitate the hair, or they move away from me and pull it out.
This activity has been well-received.
I think if you have to ask you’re never going to get it ??♂️
@hogboblin is this a true story?
@BashfulLoner
Partially. I attempted this once, but my gag reflex is much too strong: I began choking on the hair almost immediately. My significant other at the time woke up, asked me what was going on, and I explained in between coughing. We had a laugh about it.
Something I have about zero percent chance of being on the receiving end of.
As far as I'm concerned, scalp-scratching is way better than just playing with hair.
But then I don't have a lot of hair.
Starts purchasing hair products and tonics and supplements in Hope's that my hair will be long enough to get @hogboblin 's attention...
@TouchIsTLC
Aw. One day we’ll cuddle. At the end of our session, I’ll regurgitate so much hair that it will look as if someone had unclogged a shower drain.
I think soulseeker is right. If you have to ask you are kind of slow on the up take.
I'm tempted to tell an old joke about the meaning of No, the meaning of Yes.
Tempted but not crazy
When I hear “play and hair” I think of twirling, or messing someone’s hair up. Anybody want some of that? ?
I'd only mess up the short-haired guys that I feel comfortable with. It's a lot easier for most of them to fix it especially, if they've straight. Or wavy hair. At least that what I think. Then it's for those with long hair especially, depending on their type. If a guy has long hair then, I might offer to braid it. lol. Or encourage them to braid mine when I’ve long hair. They could learn that skill.
I do like to massage someone's head though, and gently run my fingers through their hair: if they have hair. If not, just a massage, and similar motion should do.
@yellownote this should give you a bit of an ideal by what women might mean when they they like this hair played with.
Though, ask for permission with each step, and get to know what that individual means, and wants. Everyone is different. I'd caution "running your fingers" through us non-straight haired women. lol. Proceed with extra gentleness, and no matter the type just get to know the individual better.
@CardiacKid Who are you talking to about yes and no?
It is when you take hair and you play a game of checkers
It's when you cuddle with Cousin It.
