Taking bets....

I'm curious if anyone else on here watches the front page for new users and then makes bets on who is going to get banned for being a fake/scammer account? It's fun, you should try it. :-)

  • @TeddyBear81 Ha! I don’t take bets per se, but yeah I often make some assumptions about the viability of certain new user accounts. And I only pay attention to the newbies from Illinois where I live, and Florida where I spend time, unless the photo catches my eye for some reason. The ones with photos that catch my attention are often the first to crash and burn.

Yeah, the idea just popped into my head earlier and gave me a good chuckle, figured I'd share. :-)

  • Interesting hobby.... what do fake/scammer accounts even do on this site? How do you recognize them?

  • I’ve been doing that myself! It be great if we could post it and not offend any one.

  • I also place personal bets on whether they are going to approach me with any banned behavior. I have a relatively high average.

  • Alot of the times you can tell just by the username. I dont think "eatsyouout" is going to be staying here long haha. And yes ive seen that name on here before.

I’m certain this is simply ridiculous paranoia, but the odds seem to be against amateur female accounts...

I just report if I see something fishy, but yeah, I do make bets and often follow up on the account later (90% of the time they are paused or banned). You can tell a lot by the type of pictures someone is posting as well as the username, but sometimes I will check on the "model" looking accounts and do an image reverse search, turns out to be a stolen image. There's one in Los Angeles which keeps joining using the same models over and over, as well as using the same format for usernames (InsertNameHere); I've caught them and got them banned like 4 times this last week.

  • @RaindropSweetie It’s not so much that they are fake or scamming, though that does happen. They are here looking for intimacy way beyond platonic. Some are practicing prostitution, others are just hoping to engage in erotic conversation. Think of any inappropriate reason to be on this site, and it happens at least weekly.

  • I’m curious on who would have bet I’d get banned when the seen my profile?

  • @BashfulLoner For real? You were banned for your profile?? I just checked it out and your photos—pretty harmless stuff.

  • No i wasn’t. I’m just wondering who might have believed me to have nefarious intentions

  • @BashfulLoner Curiously enough I had looked at your profile when it was on the new cuddle buddy carousel. I was struck my your choice to list 3 sexual orientations. It caused me to wonder if there is a category for someone with a fluid orientation. It’s not the same as “gender fluid,” as I think in each of your orientations you see yourself as male and only male. But I get it (I think.). I believe that orientation is fluid naturally, but cultural norms cause most of us to put a fence around one orientation for ourselves.

What was the question again? 🤷🏼‍♂️

  • @mickcuddle it should probably just say “typical”

  • There's nothing typical about you @BashfulLoner! :D <3

  • That is awfully nice of you @PaulaDahla, but beneath the splendid vernacular, chiseled good looks, and deserved confidence I’m sure i have plenty of typical traits that i try to hide from the world. 😉
