Why is it so hard to find good cuddlers? Any Idea?
You just joined and you also don't have anything filled out on your profile . Also consider that there are a lot more men on here than women.
Because pugo rhymes with yugo and if you know cars that is not good.
...
Speak for yourself.
But seriously, what @pmvines said is the truth. In addition, you do not have to have a photo...I do not because of my career...but you should have one to attach when you send a message as I do. Write a message that is better than “Hey, want to cuddle?” Tell the person a bit about yourself and perhaps why you would like to cuddle.
And finally, ignore the grim reapers and their words of the commodification of cuddling and end times on this site. They rarely if ever find someone to cuddle because they are too busy presenting the negative. Be positive and honest and you will find plenty of cuddlers unless you live in a rural area.
Stop perpetuating sexist double standards against men, you cannot argue that they're not held to higher standards than women on this website. I lurk a lot and whenever this kind of topic crop up it's always about how OP isn't getting any messages because he's dressed like a slob, or he hasn't filled out his bio. I've never been solicited for cuddles on this site and I've never received a response from non-professional cuddlers to my messages. Nobody ever reads your bio, and nobody's going to give your profile a second look because you're dressed up. If I wore a suit and tie and hired a professional photographer to take my profile pic it wouldn't matter, I have no doubt about that. Suggesting that a woman go to the same lengths to make themselves more "approachable" or less "threatening" would be met with decries against sexism, and rightly so.
It doesn't matter how young, nice or gay you are, if you're a man you only have a split second to convince somebody you're worth their time, and the only thing you have to do it with is a static web page. That is this website's principle design flaw, it's supposed to be all about platonic physical contact but the match making process is centered on the same kind of window shopping dating websites use. Humans are extremely visual creatures, and they're going to pursue their favorites exclusively. If nobody was allowed to post or share profile pictures until they started a conversation with somebody else I have no doubt the private interactions on this website would improve.
Finally, I don't consider my area "rural", 600,000 people live in the metropolitan yet there's only a handful of non-professional cuddlers here. I haven't tried it yet but I think I will have better luck on OKCupid.
Agree @shorts.
I'm swipin' on OKCupid right now!
Come on in, the water's fine!
@Shorts Lol I've used OKCupid and met nice people who cuddle. I actually read bios though because if someone took time to write something it's useful to read it to get a sense of who he/she is.
Let's see now. I have updated my profile
Location plays a huge part. Just for kicks, do a search around Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and you'll see there are plenty of cuddlers in these metro area's. Deleware is a small place.
High expectations... it might be awkward the first time.
Delaware is close to Philly....all of it
Well, @Shorts, if you weren't 780 miles away I'd cuddle you but I'm outside of your age range.
On our end - we get messages from people but they are almost entirely men who don't understand the concept of platonic. Or they are non-communicators who clearly haven't read one's profile and send messages like, "hi u r cute i'd like to cuddle call me 689-725-7777."
It's hard all over. I don't even care about weight, what they look like, age, I'm looking for someone who is nice, safe, not at all pushy, who wants to cuddle and cuddle only. Surely there is someone out there that fits that description.
Lol
@pugo To answer your question... There are too many pros and not enough regulars. So you most likely have to pay if you want to cuddle. A lot of things in life will cost you. Even cuddles. For everything else there’s MasterCard. Fast voice: Sign up now and pay no interest for a whole year of purchases. Not for people living in Kentucky and New Jersey. Canada need not apply.
I have already signed up but no one is willing to come to me or host me
@pugo Give it some time and be patient man. You will find someone.
@pugo How close to Philly are you?
The setup is misleading. I don't care if my cuddle patner has or wants kids. If they have them they will mention it soon enough
I agree with @Shorts.
@shorts and @nerdish I would agree that men are held to a higher standard than women on this site, but the reasons would not change in the real world either. The fact of the matter is you are competing with other men not women because it is a numbers game and men outnumber women on this site. I think someone did research on this site in one metro area and there were 65 women and nearly 500 men.
So what is a girl to do? Well you start with profiles or you can start with messages or you can consider both in eliminating choices of men. I understand your assertion about it does not matter how young, attractive or whatever you are because it really does not matter—this is not a dating site. What matters to a lot of the ladies is safety, respect and communication. I have not read the messages you send so I do not know your approach. I do know that a lot of consideration goes into who they Cuddle because you are asking them, a female, the most sexually assaulted gender, to enter into an intimate environment based on a profile and a hunch. That is a big ask. The little things suggested do help—bio, pic etc.—because they are the only fragments a female has to make a decision to put herself in a vulnerable position.
But, being old enough to remember things before personal computers it was really no different. Now I am talking about dating or being close to a female. You had better be able to engage a lady you were interested in on the phone or in person or else she would quickly move to option B. Women have more options for mates than men—I am not speaking about quality options necessarily—because it is pretty much determined by nature. So you can game the game as much as you want, hate the unfairness of it all and point out the flaws but you will always lose to Mother Nature.
If you do not believe me, look at how many women have to mute their account or keep it to locals only because they were barraged as soon as they came on this site. I have never seen a man so much as hint at being inundated by requests.
@Shorts it isn't sexist to suggest to op who's clearly trying to figure this out that perhaps filling out his profile etc., can help.
A reasonably well done profile does help one's chances. "Me you cuddle now" especially with a completely or so empty profile doesn't go so well especially, with many women. There needs to be some introduction, and communication. To get to know each other a bit, and provide a few things to help others better connect with you. I don't think one thing is the magic be all. However, to argue that that doesn't help is flawed. I am happy to respond when I get a message that's thoughtful, a well done profile, and someone who shows that they actually match my profile. Whereas the opposite doesn't create those positive feelings in women like myself. As opposed to them being things I am not seeking. We can only control what we choose to do, and how we choose to present ourselves. The better we can be at that, the more we might have a better chance.
@pugo that photo you have seems to lead to a model. Are you the model in that photo?

@shorts I have no idea who your comment is directed towards or what it is truly about. Tbh, probably best not to know.
But when you make vast and definitive generalizations (e.g. nobody ever reads your bio, etc.), they can easily be proven false. And this puts anything else you have to say in question.
For example, I always read profiles. And I've responded to the vast majority of messages I've received. Even responded to a few random "are you available" initial contacts, trying to encourage some actual communication (as opposed to immediately dismissing someone).
As others have said, the size of the area where you live does matter. Cuddling in this context isn't sliced bread. It's a relatively new concept. (Much more so than online dating.) So naturally where there's more people, there's more cuddlers. And even if you happen to live in one of the top 5 metropolitan areas, you can't expect a good cuddler to just fall in your lap. If cuddling is worth it to you, so should putting in a little time to "find a good cuddler". Patience, grasshopper.
P.s: Last time I checked, OkCupid was a dating site. So you may indeed have better luck there - if dating is what you are looking for. But that's not the same as cuddling, is it?
Why is it so hard to find a cuddler who isn't a creeper? I think I'm pretty clear in my profile, but I keep meeting people treating this like tinder. Any suggestions?
It's probably my fault why it's hard to find a good cuddler. After people cuddle with me, they don't want to cuddle with anyone else. I've cuddled in several states, so I'm making it hard to find a good cuddler from coast to coast.
@HarleygurlRai Get an account on Tinder. Lots of people there interested in only cuddles, not sex.
@FunCartel if only that was true...
MOD: edited for content [reurbo]
@CaliCuddlingGuy that's one of the warmest and nicest profiles I've seen around. Keep it up. 🙂
So has anyone noticed the OP was banned?? 🤔
Also yes @Lovelight on @CaliCuddlingGuy 🙌🏻
@CaliCuddlingGuy if you’re ever in Georgia I challenge you to “cuddle off” lol
