The OP is in more of a journal format than forum. It has no inquires, polls or requests. Just a beginning, middle and end. I appreciate the empathy, support and freakouts.
One thing I did not mention, when it got revealed we both were cuddlers, she asked if we could hold hands across the table as we visited. The way she asked was a strong indicator of just how new this profession and scene is. It was the most physically intimate moment the two of us have ever shared. It also felt like a very natural way to be.
