I'm new here. But I do have a conversation I'm curious to begin if it hasn't already been discussed here before. That is, what does the act and whole experience of cuddling mean to different people?
It means something different to men and women, different racial, ethnic groups and nationalities as well as socioeconomic classes of people.
I'd like to challenge people to give their own definitions of cuddling.
What does the act of physically holding and hugging mean for you in your experience or in your feeling? Is it just a sensual thing or is it a combination of that and much more? What does it mean to touch? Can you cuddle and snuggle and have the same experience? Is snuggling and cuddling the same thing: the act and the experience?
When I say 'act',I mean the physical holding and hugging and touching. When I say 'experience' I mean the conversation, face-face meeting, physical touching, pauses, silences, routines and everything in between.
For me cuddling is multi dimensional and personal. What it ultimately is depends on who is involved and what they want. If my opinion needs more clarity, feel free to message me.
