Newbie female here- need tips for mtg cuddles

I'm new to this site and I'm in the Seattle area. I've messaged a few people and about 50 percent respond but it feels like I have to do all the reaching out. I'm just looking for general tips, I have 15 pics, I also have a write-up and two positive Karma notes from previous cuddles. I'm becoming a pro to see if that helps? Perhaps it takes time. I appreciate the feedback and happy cuddling 🤗

"Pro pending" is a difficult status, because it means ; you can't charge yet, but someone who is looking for a non-pro wouldn't be able to see you for very long on that basis.

It's also difficult for everyone at the moment, with the Covid-19 restrictions ; so a lot of people have put their searches on hold for a while.

As your pro status is pending I don’t know exactly what the rules are, but you do want to be careful ( of the rules ) that your not posting advertisements in the general forum. I understand your asking just for ways you meet cuddlers, not trying to advertise... but I feel like after your approval it may be not okay? I’m not sure but just that’s just a friendly heads up 😁
The pro - only forums would be the perfect place to get great answers to the questions in your post. ( but I know you’re pending so you don’t have access yet )

But I’m terms of the problems you were having getting replies to your message, I think most people here would agree 50% ain’t bad.
I’m the forums people often express, ”finding a cuddle buddy takes time”- It seems a lot of women ( especially with photos ) get inundated with messages & cuddle requests, while many men don’t often get responses for quite a while.
It can really help when using the search feature - to make sure you’re looking for and messaging people who have recent activity on their profile.

I’m pretty sure if your post stays up your inbox will be flooded with people looking to cuddle!

You won't have any problems. With lots of pictures and a well-worded profile, I'll be reaching out to you when I get to Seattle. Since it is a metro area and you don't live in the middle of nowhere, you'll probably be a very busy cuddler. Good luck!

No idea why you haven't been getting many messages. I'm sure you will be receiving some soon. But honestly, I think most people reading this thread would be thrilled with a 50% response rate. My response rate is 0% messaging non-pros and around 40% messaging pros.

I know some site members have complained before in prior threads about pros, in your case pro pending, messaging them out of the blue as it can feel a little like cold calling and solicitation . Not sure if that is case with you just am throwing that out there as a potential reason .

@SanFranResident - I got a response from a non-pro female who said it's difficult for her to keep up with so many conversations at once. I'm like, "I wish I had that problem."

I have a female cuddling enthusiast friend who said she had trouble getting men to meet up for platonic cuddles. They would often text chat back and forth, then disappear as soon as she talked about meeting up. I think a lot of guys lose interest as soon as a woman makes it clear it's all strictly platonic and will stay that way.

Maybe around 15% of non-pros respond to me, and around 40 percent of pros respond to my messages, so like the others, I'd say you're doing pretty well. Once you become a pro, I'm certain more people will reach out to you as you have a nicely filled out bio and several pictures!

Good Morning and thank you all so much for the feedback. I’ve already made some changes based on it. It’s also true once I share it’s an only a platonic cuddle people have dropped off. I commit to replying to everyone while I’m on this site. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. Does anyone know how long it takes to become a pro?

Also since posting this, I did get some messages mostly from out of state and I replied to everyone and then was told I can not email anyone else today unless the conversation has already started. Strange rules? Does anyone know about this one and why it’s that way?

@kindnessfirst - I believe the rule only exists for new members to prevent spamming .

@kindnessfirst If I recall correctly my application was approved within a day or two. However, I did not start as an enthusiast first so that may or may not make a difference. Also that was before you had to provide a debit or credit card so that may make a difference too. I haven't heard about the email rule before. Anyway, welcome and hope you get lots of cuddles.

@MissX yes, it’s been a while so I’ll just keep waiting and see when I’m approved. I didn’t get asked for debit info. Can you share the cost with me? I like your profile and it’s given me some ideas for people that want to do virtual or can’t host. I can only host on occasions when my daughters are visiting their Dad.
