I'm gonna be tempted to start hugging random people.
I'll be doing more photography. That's been on hold since we can't really maintain social distancing in a studio
Massages and Cuddling.
Going into shops and banks wearing a face covering, so that the security people tell me to remove it.
Careful there @Mike403 you don't wanna get hit with a charge
Probably traveling to a new country and moving out of the USA. But overall its kinda hard to plan for stuff after the pandemic because its hard to remain hopeful in the USA because of how bad we messed up. And on top of that a lack of another stimulus bill so if you've lost hours or lost your job due to the pandemic, then it also makes it hard to make future plans because the question is going to become can I afford to do something like take a vacation in the future
I want to check out the local hosted cuddle party scene and hopefully meet/click with others from nearby who are also interested in being squishy...
Travel, domestic and international. Massage and cuddling. Gym/yoga/kickboxing classes.
Not necessarily in that order.
Brace myself for the next round of plagues
I definitely want to go back to the gym. Its something that helps my anxiety!
*Travel. I used to travel for work at least monthly. It is rough to not have that now.
*Gym. Used to powerlift, then got out of it when I moved. Now, I am a butterball. I had joined the gym again just before COVID started.
*Go out for sushi and other fine dining. I'm a foodie and love experiencing nice restaurants. I miss it. Curbside isn't the same.
Oh, I'm definitely going to roll myself right in the gym! I have gain so much weight while being quarantine. Lol 🤦🏽♀️
@quixotic_life - Don't forget to visit Colorado. You still owe me a cuddle.
@geoff1000 - I do miss when we weren't basically forced to dress up as bank robbers.
@Cuddle_sadies5 @BigBear4Cuddles @Mennahugs - I joined the gym in January of this year. I was excited to actually get in shape. However, I almost forgot how my luck works.
@Mike403 You're one of twenty-four current plot points on my "Dream Drive/CC People to Pester" map! So no worries my friend!
Adding to the post-Covid road trip I also want to...
Travel!!! My first ever passport arrived just weeks before the world shut down. So I for sure I want to get some use out of that!
Arting!!! In addition to everything else I've been craving ~ I'm really in-touch with how incredibly art starved I am! Seeing other's work online is okay ~ but I really miss being able to fully immerse myself in their creativity! I'm beyond looking forward to when I can go to a festival, live show or concert, watch some live performance art/ dances/ plays, and go to some art shows/ galleries/ museums, etc. again. I truly can't wait until all those spaces are reopened for collective consumption and celebration!!
@quixotic_life - I don't live far from Red Rocks Amphitheater which is one of the best concert venues in the country. I went to around 10 shows there every summer. This year was the exception.
Noted ~ Coordinate with @Mike403 to visit when there's a show happening at Red Rocks! Outdoor venues are my favorite and that place is pretty phenomenal! OMG! If there'll be a show by a band with an 80's vibe... That's the one I'd want to go to with you!!!
@quixotic_life - When a concert isn't happening, the venue is open to the public and people go there to exercise because there are a lot of stairs to climb.
@Mike403 ~ Lol ~ That's actually how I knew about it!
step-step-step 'gasp for air' step-step-step 'gasp for air' "Sorry, ('pant-pant') why are we doing this, again? ('pant-pant') Oh, the view. Right..." step-step-step 'gasp for air'...
Traveling! I have quite the bucket list. And a lot of wanderlust. Another cuddle tour may be in order, both state side and internationally.
Concerts. National parks. Restaurants. Yoga class and kickboxing. So much to do and see!
I'm going to a music venue. I had tickets for Lauren Daigle (cancelled), Patti Labelle and Charlie Wilson (postponed.) Also will book a private dinner with Union Square Hospitality Group in NYC., for my family.
Movie theater, swimming, travel
I'd love to go for a trip to the coast with friends!
Buy an airplane ticket and leave the US for at least 3 months!! Too much nonsense going here right now.
Two previous social efforts I was making before the pandemic that I believe I’d enjoy again even if they don’t yield me any long-term friendships in my chosen area: dancing and attending gatherings of American Sign Language (ASL) students.
I probably won’t go to the same dance studio I went to before because they encouraged me to stay half the night until 1 or 2:AM. I can’t because I’m a factory worker and would be awake for more than 17 hours straight from the time I got up for work until then. It’s either dancing in the early evening hours (ending no later than 22:30) is acceptable or I just can’t do it.
As for the ASL student gatherings, I call them such because so few attendees actually have the medical condition of deafness that calling them “Deaf events” would be a misnomer.
I also wanna use Starbucks WiFi for my music purchases instead of keeping a more expensive data plan on my phone. Apple seems to issue macOS updates every month or two but I can’t get them all until I can resume going to Starbucks or at least Panera for the WiFi. During the pandemic I can only get these updates when I’m at my parents’ house in Kentucky to get the updates on their DSL connection.
@Mike403 I have this "Free Hugs" T-shirt that I used to wear, and usually some brave soul would come up to me for a hug, and I loved that!
I definitely miss it.
My partner and I are thinking of renting an RV and hitting the road. We have friends and family all over the country that we'd like to visit and places we'd like to see. Foods we wanna try
I'd also like to see Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Japan.
(also it sounds like a few of us here are going to Colorado, anyone fancy a meet-up? XD)
To continue to love myself unconditionally so that I don't need anyone and their company.
To fill myself up with such unconditional love I don't need cuddles. I don't need conversation. I don't need friendship. I don't need companionship. I don't need any of the comfortable convenient amenities that human interaction provides. Self sufficiency is what I aim for. To me that's the most ideal form of self security. If I can attain that I feel like I am set for the rest of my life.
There's a "immersive theatre" show based on Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" which is currently closed because of the rules.
Summerfest in Milwaukee, massages, and the gym are my top 3 right now.
