My feeling is that if a pro gets fully paid for the session, they are less bothered by a no-show ; but a non-pro has no consolation.
In my opinion, if someone ghosts you, they are doing you a favor. Do you honestly want a callous person like that in your life?
@MrPaul I totally agree with you. We may like the idea of the person’s potential as a cuddler at first but the fact that they ghost says a lot about thier character. Honestly ghosting behavior is not consistent with the qualities that we look for in friends and potential cuddle buddies. @hellcat_123 Most of my cuddling sessions work out in person but I have been no showed and or ghosted a few times before. As far as online before the first meet, it happens often. I know that I bring to the table and confident. It used to bother me at first but now I am happy to get ghosted because the cuddler and I were obviously not a good match at the time. It takes two to tango. As far as online, I get ghosted by pros and non pros at times but getting ghosted is a lot better than paying for cuddles or traveling/hosting to an enthusiasts only to have an unsatisfying experience because the other person does not really want too and may behave passive aggressively. I am by no means saying that ghosting is correct but inreality it sadly happens. I wish you the best as a new member.
@MrPaul @FishCuddles I like that view.
A scientist spent twenty years of his career trying to prove a pet theory, which would have earned him a Nobel prize. One day, a colleague felt obliged to sensitively point out that he had found a fundamental flaw in the theory. To the colleague's relief and surprise, the scientist was overjoyed. "Aren't you unhappy with me", asked the colleague, "for showing that you have wasted the last twenty years of your life ?" "Not at all", replied the scientist. "I am very grateful to you, for preventing me also wasting the next twenty years."
We can only know if people are reliable, by risking the harm of their unreliability ; and it is better to learn that, when the stakes are lower. If I had an accumulator bet on six horses, where the winnings of each were staked on the next, and one horse was to fail ; I'd rather it be the first one.

@geoff1000 Thank you! I agree it’s better to know the uncomfortable truth, rather than living a comfortable lie long term. I would rather find out that another person is not trustworty in the beginning, than down the road when stakes are higher.
@FishCuddles I've had people complain, when I tell them that something they are hoping for, is very unlikely ; that I have "Burst their bubble". Any economist will say it is best for bubbles to be burst earlier.
In the sci-fi "sitcom" Red Dwarf, a character is given a medical exam, and returns for the results. The doctor says, "Before I give you the results, I have to ask, do you cope well with bad news ?" "No", answers the patient, "I'm very bad with bad news". "In that case", says the doctor, "everything's fine".
