How do you set up your bed?

I've seen a lot of different preferences for this and it's interesting. I like silky sheets and pillow cases that arent stretchy, firm but squishy pillows, I'm a little obsessed with sherpa blankets(so soft<3) and I enjoy having a few lil stuffed toys on there

    The only thing I love more than flannel sheets are linen sheets. White. And a big puffy linen down comforter. And a sheepskin right up near my face so I can bury my face in fur, that is, until Chewbacca gets here.

    I like to set up my bed like an eighty year old woman. No... seriously.

    Some people inherit money. Me? I get Grandma's old throw pillows. Why? The good lord only knows. But blamed if I'm gonna let 'em go to waste. Besides. Should really confuse housebreakers.

    That's actually how I set up my bed - with a soft, fuzzy and warm Siberian Husky fur :p
    We're having a blizzard today, so it comes real handy to have fuzzy fur at hand.

    @Siberian76: Heh. Not sure whether you're being serious or taking the mickey with the heart thing. My grandma was a frilly old lady.

    The red curtains are more my style. My bed is just like a bed in an old castle—cold and in desperate need of something to keep heat in so the sleeper doesn't freeze. Super authentic! And why red? 'Cause that's what color the old curtains I got my hands on were. Scrounging FTW, as I think the kids once said.

    Anyway. It works for me. (I'm more of a couch cuddler anyway. I should really get a new couch; had to leave the old one in Colorado. Oh well.)

    I assume, you mean for a cuddle-?, being a GUY, I don't go for anything real fancy. I do have an extra bedroom not being used, but an hour or two before having a cuddle, I warash all the sheets-etc. so they are all fresh.
    When traveling to meet a cuddlier in my RV or at a motel, I do the thing, at the motel I take my own bedding to use, you never know how clean there's is. I have my sound machine in my RV as well.
    PS, I'm from WV., we warash our stuff, not WASH, LOL

    @Sheena123 looking so stylish (both you and your bed). Mine looks like this during the cooler months and no cuddler is about to come over

    But during the warmer months, and year-round when a cuddler is about to come over, it looks more like this.

    my bedding has all different materials for sensory. I have a lot of pillows that are silk, velvet, and super soft linen.
