Notice to Pros

I don’t think I’m in the minority when it comes to the act of cuddling really being a therapeutic means to quelling unwelcome feelings, such as anxiety and the like. Often, these are during turbulent or emotional times that aren’t planned, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you when I’d feel it next.

To say, “I’d like to set up an appointment on Thursday of next week around 3:47pm to deal with expected, unexpected feelings” just doesn’t work for me because I may actually be feeling great that day. Then it just feels like money I could’ve saved for a time when I don’t feel so great.

So to pros out there who may wonder why some people like me, choose a day or two before or even try their luck the day of, this may very well be why. I get that therapy in any arena is often planned out but for this, I’m more reactive than anything.

That said, I have absolutely NO expectation of anyone being at my beck and call or to be on standby, eagerly waiting on CC for a chance request that they can accept from little ol’ me. I give all of you just enough credit to at least imagine that you have a life. I only HOPE that you don’t sometimes, when it comes to last minute requests. (Joking... kind of.)

In any case, my feelings won’t get hurt over a “No”. I expect it as a worse case scenario, so I am well prepared.

What does bother me though, is when I notice a trend in my ups and downs and try to get ahead of it. I message days prior to set something up but the setting up takes long because some Pro’s are doing the exact things they tend to not like from enthusiasts. One word or short sentence responses over the course of days, mixed with questions not fully being answered or addressed. And to be honest, I feel kind of rude just sending a appointment request without talking to you about it first.

Also, don’t tell me you’re available but then not confirm the time and then just leave me hanging like maybe you’ll get back to me around the time requested or maybe not. Unless you’re basically saying “Yes, I’m available, just not for you 😝”; which, I admit would be funny, try “Yes, I’m available during X time frames. Let me know which one works for you.” And when I tell you what time works for me, actually get back to me so that hours later I’m not sitting around just wondering.

You Pros and Enthusiasts are awesome even during not so awesome times. I appreciate you all. Just giving some random food for thought.

Hopefully this doesn’t get me in trouble.

  • There are a lot of pros who have their reasons for why they don’t or can’t accept last minute bookings and I can’t speak for them. So all I can say is every pro is different 😊
I, myself, don’t have another job while I’m here in Florida so it’s a lot easier for me to accept last minute sessions. It’s not that simple for others but I do agree with you that if they have already initiated or joined in the conversation about finding a day and time, they shouldn’t leave you hanging. I’m sorry you’ve gone through that. It’s not fun 😖

Speaking your mind politely surely won’t get you in trouble. Good luck hun 😌

  • @Sheena123 Thanks love! I appreciate your comments. I completely understand not taking last minute bookings. I’m usually just rolling the dice at that point with fingers crossed but no expectations.

Pros have been pretty cool for the most part and this isn’t really on one in particular person but rather little things I’ve noticed over a number of different coordinations with different Pros. At the end of the day, I get that things come up and things happen. The average person typically has a lot going on in their lives, work, family, self, play, etc. There’s that for me, plus I work two jobs that typically run until late.

So I value what time I have just as much as the next person. I just hope that people realize that’s typically the case for everyone, pro or not and communication is always key.

  • @AveryK84 I agree 100% 😄
