If it's up to the top of your front door, it's too much. Fortunately, I have never seen that where I live.
I am from Florida, so any snow in Florida would be too much.
I think it all depends if you have to go out in it, then any is to much. When I moved here to FL., it was so nice to watch it snow on TV, but after 2-3 yrs., I thought it would be nice to play in the snow again. So I year between Xmas & New years I went back home and took a 4 wheeler I had at the time, so I could see how it would go in the snow, hoping it would snow. Sure enough it did, after a few days I woke up to about 1 inch, took the 4 wheeler out for about 45 min's, I loaded it back on trailer, told my family, you're all crazy for staying here, and headed SOUTH back to Fl., LOL
There is no such thing as too much snow
@FishCuddles I knew someone who was from Florida, and one time he said they got a light dusting of snow in Florida, and then there were shirts in stores that said "I survived the great blizzard".

Snow itself is not a problem, try a -50 'F wind-chill and then report back.
Where I live, we often have uninterrupted snow layer from October 1 till March 15.
I walk my Husky 5 times a day, regardless of if it's blizzard or not - just because it's a raging blizzard, doesn't mean she doesn't have to pee.
Earlier this year, there was a week where we had back-to-back storms/blizzards. In 5 days, and about 25 walks, every single one was in a storm/blizzard as I managed to sleep through the full periods.
Funny thing, on 6th day, when I got up, walked out, and the sun was shining, it was initially very confusing and disturbing - my first thought was "WTF is wrong with the weather' :-)
I once spent two weeks in Florida-Orlando in March. Supposedly the best weather there is. Took me a while to figure out it was a phenomenal sarcasm :-)

Have you actually experienced how disgustingly sticky Florida is? Gimme -40'F any day of the week instead of that...
Now I can understand if someone is born there and doesn't know any better. But especially in U.S., it's very easy to experience ~all climates, so there's no excuse to suffer the climate you were born into...
