Do you think that it would be better to cuddle with one pro or if your a cuddle pro is it easier to cuddle the same clients? Or do you like to change it up and experiment with different cuddlers? I am just Curious.
I love cuddling everyone but as a pro, it certainly makes my life easier having regular clients. I get to know them more and you can always experiment different positions with them so it never has to seem boring. ☺️
I don't cuddle with pros (nothing against them) but if I did, once I found one (or maybe two) that I enjoyed, I'd likely go to them. They'd be a known commodity. I used to get a professional massage every once in a while. It took me a while, but once I found someone whose technique I liked, I always went to her.
There is something similar with enthusiast. I can see the advantage of meeting new people and trying new experiences, but I'm not here necessarily to meet new people. Like When a, there is something about getting to know someone and adding that later of understanding and emotional nearness (at least for me). There is also that issue of safety (yes, ladies, we guys have a degree of concern for that with new potential cuddle buddies) - both physical and emotional safety. I share things with my cuddle buddies I don't share with just anyone. That kind of trust takes time.
I think it’s best not to focus on a single pro. It’s a good way to avoid emotional dependence. It’s easy to stay within the bounds regarding physical connection. But sometimes your emotions will catch you unaware.
I generally don’t see the same pro more than once unless it’s an exceptionally good experience. I like variety.
@cualtzin that's a great prospective! @DrCuddleBug interesting 🤔.. Best of luck on all your journey to finding the person who makes you feel safe and secure 🤗 @Sheena123 regulars can be great it's true because we can try new positions it's so fun. I've had a position i lived that made me feel like a pretzel. Lol 😆.
While I accept new clients all the time, I much prefer to have regular clients that I have come to trust, especially right now during the pandemic. Every time I meet with someone new, there is a safety risk, so I have to put in several safety measures (COVID testing, location sharing, buddy calls, etc). Also, the more I meet and get to know a client, the more comfortable we are, the better I can assess their needs, and the more confident they are speaking up about what they want, making for a more satisfying experience for all.
I think for someone new to this wonderful thing of cuddling, your first experience can enhance your idea of cuddling by going with a pro. I recommend to really look around at various ones to see whom you may feel most comfortable. I'm very new to all this and chose to go with a pro near me. I guess I felt to truly feel what the experience should be like, a pro would know how to make me feel more at ease. That's exactly what happened with me and I now feel, thanks to her, it's opened up a whole new world for me! It was such an incredible experience.
I really liked settling in with a single cuddler when that was happening.
Experience is a great teacher. And I do agree that when starting to cuddle at first it is good to find an experienced pro and work from there. Some experienced pros who really care about human connection and understand the deeper value of human touch can give great wisdom on guidance. Especially to someone who is just discovering what physical touch means to him or her. You never know until you experience it. And it's good to be able to create one's own internal compass as one experiences cuddling with different people.
And if one is not able to find or afford a pro, then slowly build a solid social connection with an experienced enthusiast. An experienced enthusiast who has already explored the different stages and phases of platonic cuddling. And has developed a strong sense of self awareness and established personal boundaries. That provides the space and context for open yet constructive conversation around the hot button concerns around cuddling in the first few months to a year. Cuddling comes with its own learning curves and self discovery and growth. With patience and compassion with oneself cuddling evolves for that person over time. And one discovers that what one thought one wanted and needed a month or six months ago changes a year later. It's about staying attuned and patient and open minded. And choosing the right cuddle partner is always so critical to whether or not or how far one grows through and into cuddling as an ongoing experience.
I learnt this the hard way. It's one of the reasons I've removed myself from messaging and interacting with new people in the searches. I'm just no longer interested in meeting new members. I've found a higher purpose for this cc platform. And it works pretty well for me. So I'm content with that.
It would be ideal for me to find one cuddler. As much as I like conversation, repeating my story over and over gets boring and figuring out a new cuddle partners' wants and desires only to move on to another cuddle partner to repeat the process is not as desirable. However, I have not had a cuddle yet that was not very enjoyable.
@Mmart i get that it gets boring if you stay in your own area, but I travel too much with my job and sitting around the hotel and having the fitness center be the height of my off hours, I welcome regurgitating stories over and over again to new people because the alternative is boredom. I bet if they were being truthful and lacked a filter many of the people I have cuddled would say I am a Chatty Cathy.
Ideally, do both. Find someone to cuddle with regularly who you can form a deep connection with. But, occasionally meet other people, learn from those experiences, and bring what you learned back to your regular cuddle partner.
@FunCartel I totally see your point. Fitness equipment just doesn't seem to cuddle well and have no appetite for conversation.
@Mmart Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I love my workouts because they center me, but hugging a medicine ball doesn’t cut it.
Extensive cuddling with only one professional is unwise. It creates a de facto dependence. Moreover, it creates a single point of failure. If that pro moves to Philadelphia, you will be left bereft.
Having said that, I have found that, for all the pleasures of cuddling somebody new, the familiarity of somebody who knows you is a greater reward.
I’m the “1 type” - id prefer to cuddle just one
@CuddleDuncan Wouldn't the dependence risk depend on what one expects to get out of cuddling? A way to stave off loneliness vs a way to relax, though while more intimate, not that different from a massage.
I enjoy the trust and connection I’ve built with my returning clients. We’ve really grown to form a close bond and know one another on a deeper level, but I also thoroughly enjoy meeting new clients and hearing their unique stories.
@calintz well, to some extent, possibly. However, cuddling is much more intimate than massage and I find it very, very different indeed. A good cuddling relationship is much more like a good relationship with a talking therapist, than it is like a good relationship with a massage therapist.
Cuddling triggers all sorts of hormonal and chemical responses in the body, and all sorts of deep-seated unconscious emotional ones. We don't even begin to know what they all are, never mind what they do. Emotional dependence is most certainly not inevitable in the long term, but it is a significant risk which should be managed.
I was also thinking in purely practical terms. If you are cuddling regularly with one person and they move away or stop cuddling with you for some reason, it may take some time to find a possible replacement, never mind the time needed to build up the relationship.
