But this is a cuddling site. We don't care about your height, your weight or your age. We don't care about how much money you have, or how many benches you can press.
We do care about your thoughtfulness, your willingness and ability to care for others, and your vulnerability.

I don't doubt that you do. The point is that cuddling is a new and different thing. It's not quite like anything else, and comparisons can be tricky.
For example, not everybody agrees with me, but I find that the two comparison activities I use most often, or find most useful, are psychotherapy and chess. Massage does have some similarities, but it tends to be quoted by people who haven't thought hard enough about what cuddling really means.
Dating is mentioned a lot (and it is where a lot of people new to cuddling think they should start), but in reality it is a long way down the list. There are some technical similarities, for example in the mechanics of how the site works, but there are profound differences.
Being a tall, dark and handsome fellow is no handicap - most people would prefer to cuddle with somebody they find vaguely attractive - but it's not as important as things like empathy.

I am sure you will find someone and most of us will not be as pretentious or as full of ourselves to assume you need to listen to our cuddle worldview and why our view is the only one and dismissive of everyone else’s. Hi @tcoyote. I am in the tristate area and already sent you a message, I believe. I too am looking for friends cuddle buddies. As another fellow tristate user recently commented, life is rough. We all could certainly use some relief. Hopefully I get a response back from you! (And a picture too would be nice.)
