I would think that if you are relaxing “in the moment” and letting your walls come down and your emotions out, I think crying is extremely possible and quite therapeutic also. There’s nothing wrong with expressing your emotions.
It can truly bring about healing.
I like to cry alone in a dark room I'm the fetal position 😂🤙🏽 sad bois
It's happened to someone I was cuddling with. I like to think she needed that & I'm happy that she felt comfortable enough with me to be able to do it.
It's happened with two cuddle partners I have had from CC. Quite natural, and can be therapeutic in the right setting.
I have cried during a cuddle before. It's something I try to abstain from now, as my cuddle partner feels non-platonic things while witnessing the misery and despair of others.
I've come close to crying in a cuddle, once when talking about my sadness, but also because the cuddle was such a beautiful experience. Mind you I cry watching Forrest Gump or a dog rescue program!
I did for the first 15 minutes of my last cuddle. I don't know why I felt so emotional.
A professional cuddler I know well once told me of a first session with a new client. He sat on a chair and cried for the entire session. Didn't really say anything, refused to be comforted. She just sat there, and bore his pain. At the end of the time he dried his tears and left.
A couple of weeks later he emailed to say she had changed his life and he was very grateful. She never heard from him again.
Up to 40% of cuddle clients cry during a session. In other words its very common.
I could see how it would happen, I have not done it myself, but would be OK if my cuddle partner did. @lonelyallen21 is 100% correct I think.!! I find if me & my cuddlier really feel comfortable and kind of gel together I find my mind wonders and I block out everything negative that I may be going thru and drop any and all walls. I feel like I'm free to talk about anything, be it sad or happy. During some of my cuddles we have talked about sad things that we both have gone thru and it feels different then when I dwell on the same things all alone, some how it's up lifting when you can share you most inner thoughts with no fear of being judged. I think shedding a tear now and then is a GOOD thing, I think it shows your heart is full of love, good feelings and emotions, NOT hate & despair and maybe it's the hearts way of letting off a little pressure like a bucket overflowing and allowing more room for more love & good emotions to enter your heart. Best wishes to all for a better new year !!!!!
