Places to find people

Pretty much what the title says. We all know where people seek mere one nights and similiar, but where is likely to find people who would go allong with this thing?

    Well, aside from this site, people sometimes post in the platonic section of Craigslist for a cuddle buddy and I saw some people on reddit looking for cuddle buddies (r/cuddlebuddies). I found out about cuddle parties through meetup.com, if there is a cuddle party near you, you could getting cuddling at the party and even ask someone there if they would like to become cuddle buddies.

    I'm not sure where to go locally in person to find people to cuddle with. I have had some luck with going to church, joining small church groups and getting hugs. I've heard that some guys like sports because it is a socially acceptable way to get touch. So, perhaps, joining any kind of group where you would have some sort of common interest could lead to friendships and at least maybe hugs. If someone eIse has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I also think one could link to the "how it works section" from this website and explain that you are looking for ways to get healthy, platonic touch and ask friends if they are interested. You never know who around you may be starved for touch.

    Yoga. I don't know about boutique/fitness type yoga places, but at the more spiritual type yoga practices they actually encourage you to meet each other and get hugs after class, and much of the time the instructors hug you as well. I've never managed to have an arrangement with someone form yoga where we meet elsewhere just to cuddle, but its not uncommon to have prolonged close hugging. It all seems very warm and welcoming.

    Also, I recently learned of a cuddle party type group that is held at a nearby yoga space, but I haven't gotten around to attending yet. Was somewhat put off by the gender imbalance, and feeling much less desperate for cuddles than I was a few years ago.

    I've actually had success in http://reddit.com/r/r4r/. Not so much /r/cuddlebuddies/, but I saw a post by someone who was looking for something somewhat similar, so I messaged them about this and they said they were up for it!
