How do people feel about this? I'm interested to hear opinions on women/female presenting people with shaved heads.
I don't like the idea of anyone presenting anyone else with any heads, shaved or otherwise! What kind of a present is that to present to people?!
As long as you feel comfortable with it no ones opinion matters same with dudes with long hair.
There could be a reason CANCER
I think people can do what they want with their own hair. How people want to present themselves is a personal choice.
@verona I agree about guys with long hair.
@quixotic_life hahaha
I admire the hell out of queer women who shave their heads and make it easier for us to find each other
I said no opinion because I think it works for some but not for others
I had a semi regular cuddle pal with a shaved head . I liked it , suited them
I think it looks good on black women...not so much on white women. Is that racist? I’m not trying to be...just being honest.
I personally don't care for the most part. Unless we're cuddling. I love the feeling of running my fingers thru a woman's hair, and I enjoy when I get the chance to bury my face in a freshly cleaned head of hair and breathe in the smell of shampoo or conditioner.
@CuddleJay02 it's always good to be honest. And we all have unconscious beliefs and prejudices. Have a good old think about why you hold the view that you do over quite a number of showers/runs/whatever you do ... it might turn out not to be the reason you were expecting.
Hair is hair. I like having short hair myself (less trouble). Other people's hair is, well, other people's hair. Not really my business, is it?
I did grow up in a community where presenting female basically required long hair—cutting it any shorter than a bob essentially meant you were presenting male—so I have a tendency to see all short-haired people as being male-presenting. That's internal to me, though. Nothing to do with them. Just my own weird social programming slapping labels on stuff without my permission.
Essentially... I see other people's hair as other people's hair. So what do I think about it? I think it's theirs, and it'd be silly for me to assume it meant anything unless they told me what (if anything) they meant it to mean.
In a cuddle context: I can play with long hair. I can play with short hair. I can even play with a bare scalp if you like a good massage and some scratching.
It's all fine by me.
must feel nice and light and breezy up there.
save a load on shampoo & conditioner.
are less likely to become a host candidate for fleas, ticks, and lice.
are less friction/wind resistance. more aerodynamically sound.
I think women look great with shaved heads, but to each their own!
@BuggleBear I always suggest shaving half to see if you like it: it's your hair, nobody else cares. The people who make a fuss about women with shaved heads presumably think they care, but actually they are caring about some part of their own shit that they are failing to recognise.
perhaps have improved sense of hearing
can pull off a clever deceitful wig disguise in a snap.
@CuddleJay02 No, not necessarily racist. Thanks for the honesty.
@sage_wisdom You crack me up!
always have the same hair look.
weigh marginally less
are even more baffling & confusing to people that ask “does the carpet match the drapes?”
eventually we all regress back to our original form.
@sage_wisdom
You know you can edit a post and add more to it, yeah?
@UltimateChungus I know. I’m posting as thoughts come to me.
Oh.
I see.
Got ya.
