Yeah I remember that. I also remember when the cooking channel had good shows instead of just a bunch of screaming people. Youtube has replaced that sort of programming for me. Channels like Up and Atom, PBS spacetime, fermilab, smarter every day, physics girl, veritasium, Simone Giertz, quint BUILDS.

I tried curiosity stream...the first thing I watched was about how amouamoua(sp?) was aliens and no other possibility was explored. I picked that one because I had followed that story for a little. I cancelled my trial right after because if that was my only source of information, and I believed it, I would have thought it was aliens. But it's never aliens....until it's aliens.
My big issue with that is if I select a subject I don't know very well how do I know that they are giving me good info? Am I learning these highly improbable things when much more sensible ideas are out there? I don't know, so it's not a good source of information for me. Which is a shame.
