Seeing new pro before a bad client

dunno if other clients feel this way but whenever I see a new pro on the site I often want to try to see that pro sooner than later.  Mainly because I want to make sure they see one client who won't disrespect them or ignore their boundaries before they run into any assholes.
Otherwise they tend to quit.
I know a few clients I have heard good things about so I also tell them to go see her if I'm too busy and already seeing a pro.   I wish I could see all the pros I want to but i don't have unlimited funds or time to do so.
Youre all amazing people for doing this difficult job though.  I appreciate all of you pros so much.

Interesting take on things, @greenearth! I agree, it helps greatly to have good experiences with a respectful cuddler, especially at first!

Thank you for the shout out on the pro cuddling profession. ~~~hugs~~~
  • Agreed.  Sequence matters. Let's say that, on average, 80% of clients are punctual, personable, clean, respectful, and don't push boundaries. And for sake of argument let's say that 20% (just to pick a number out of thin air) are bad guys who are grabby and pushy.. Imagine the pro books ten meetings and gets a bad guy at sessions four and nine. As long as the experiences are not traumatic she likely chalks it up to the inevitable irritants that come along with any and every business. But if she gets the two bad guys at sessions one and two, she may decide this business is not worth pursuing. She cancels her remaining appointments and joins the ranks of cuddle skeptics.

I've had a few new cuddlers refuse to book me because I share a pic of myself in private and not on my page. Then they go on to see some new account with random pics and no karma and get the people who push boundaries lol.
  • Well that's really stupid cause you have karma.  And good karma.  So what if you don't share your pic in your page ??

  • That is so nice and thoughtful of you :-) wish you were closer to me :-)

And have to agree...i would rather trust someone who has good karma and share pics privately than to someone without a karma and some random pics.

I've been lucky so far to meet only good clients. I always trust my intuition and if in doubt, i challenge the client before we meet...most likely they will never get back to me again ;-)

Karma can be padded, exaggerated and sometimes flat out fake.

One of my prerequisites is that no karma is left for myself or my cuddler.

Some might ask what I have to hide. I have face pix up so...nothing.

Like I've said before I treat all my cuddlers like clients and want them to feel special and magical.

That feeling is cheapened when they see a wall of who I've been with.

Still, I do understand and accept some cuddlers use karma as a safety precaution.

Also, despite my opening line, I mean no disrespect to those who have had many cuddling sessions and have walls of karma. To each their own.

  • @chococuddles, I am curious: Do you visit pros? If so, do you only visit pros who have no karma themselves? I get that you neither wish to give nor receive karma ratings for your own sessions. But does seeing a pro with "a wall of who she's been with" lessen the experience for you? With or without karma, if they're a pro, it's likely they see a lot of clients. I know my favorite ones do, but that doesn't make me feel any less special during our sessions. Likewise, my pros met me through one cuddle site or another, and have no illusions that I have a monogamous cuddle relationship with them. I'm just having trouble seeing karma as a negative. Some pros have told me that they booked me more readily becasue of my karma.

That said, you are totally correct to point out that it is probably routinely inflated. Unless a session was terrible (one or two stars), most people will end up giving five stars out of kindness --- or out of fear of retaliatory bad karma. I pay more attention to what is said in the writing than I do to the number of stars given. Sort of like Amazon book reviews.

I've spoken to men and women both who they've fudged or flat out lied about karma. I'm sure the majority of karma is is honest and I understand the merit but it's tainted data to me. As a Pro-cuddler it definitely makes sense to use it as a source.

I'm non-monogamous so I'm more comfy when others are as well. No illusions. I don't really notice how much karma a Pro has. Doesn't matter if it's empty or if they have 200. To me it's about compatibility, energy and proximity. But whoever I'm with I want their experience to be magical and remembered. (tall order, huh?)

I don't really have a problem with karma. I just have an issue with false karma and people using that as a definitive measuring stick of trust. Heck one of the most active clients has been banned from this site numerous times. He used to try to shame me about not having karma.

To answer your question @quietman775 I was with one pro way last year when I first joined. I've been cuddling non-pros (not from this site or any other cuddling site) or just not cuddling at all.

    Cuddle on!
