Can anyone here begin to heal the wounds on cuddle comfort?
...No? Because this is a cuddling website, not an online therapy center?
Besides, it's terribly unfair to insist that somebody take responsibility for healing everybody else's trauma. Without pay, no less. Forget a superhero: you need a martyr. "We need someone to do the impossible, to try their hardest and inevitably fail, then take the blame for not doing enough to heal the psychological damage of a whole site of strangers!" Bit cruel, actually.... Waitaminute.
Say, are you a supervillain?
A mess of free and safe (((((HUGS))))) might help some with some stuffs... 🫂💓
Sometimes, yes! I am definitely the villain. But I am also very thoughtful and smart. I can be very kind but also brutally honest. I experience pain and joy. I am quick to laugh and quick to find the humor in something that is causing me distress. I would give someone the shirt off my back. I practice gratitude but I often find myself pushing to the point of frustration when I want something different in my life. Frustration is OK. Frustration can be healthy. Frustration is the beginning of creating new neural pathways.
Sometimes I make people very happy and other times I only know how to bring them negativity.
I exercise every day. I get sunlight every day. I drink a lot of water. And I spend way too much time posting messages on cuddle comfort.
I’m not trying to be cruel. I’m just trying to see if there’s someone that could bring more joy to this website. Superheroes are usually OK with taking on other peoples problems. But, I’m not a superhero expert at all.
Maybe everyone here just feels like this website fulfills all their Affection needs and there is no reason to go anywhere else. Actually, I know it’s not the websites responsibility to do anything for us. We are all responsible for our own cuddles and for finding our own joy. But I just wonder if there’s someone out there that has wonderful ideas and can express them clearly and help us all see a better way to find the things that are looking for.
I do like thinking about superheroes. It’s a good thought before you fall asleep at night for me.
There are two kinds of wounds.
The first wound is the actual event that creates the wound, like if someone insults you online and you feel hurt or angry when you read it. That wound causes pain at the moment it happens.
Then, there is the second wound. That wound occurs when your mind attaches to the past event that caused the pain, and identifies with that pain as the self. This type of pain is optional. The only way this kind of pain can exist is if you continue to allow it to exist by thinking about it. It is an illusion, perpetuated by your mind.
So, how do you stop your mind from causing you more pain? Realize that you are not your mind, you are the observer of your mind. Neither the past nor the future exist. There is only the now, the present moment. Everything always occurs now.
Now, at this very moment, ask yourself “Am I in pain?”
Or one could try summoning The Snuggler!!! 🦸🫂
The snuggler . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Superheros don't real.
Also: therapists are professionals who help people with their problems. As far as I know, there are zero therapists on CC who take therapy appointments through this site. And even if there were, it wouldn't be up to them to fix the site's problems.
Maybe individuals should be responsible for their own problems, mmmkay? Go to a therapist in real life. As @DarrenWalker pointed out, putting one's issues on someone (like some random stranger on a forum) else kinda sucks.
Allll....right
@Importance: As more of a villain myself, I kind of admire the mindset that says, "This forum needs someone to take responsibility for everyone else's mental health and happiness—to bring more joy to this website and take on everyone else's problems without complaint!" Aesthetically.
Calling for someone to willingly martyr themselves to the needs of a bunch of strangers, catering to their desires and whims, doing whatever's necessary to boost moods and salve wounds....
Yeah, a willing forum slave or two would sure be nice, wouldn't it? Somebody with a messiah complex, maybe, who honestly believes it's possible to help everyone on this website see a better way to find the things they're looking for, somebody who's happy to spend however many hours it takes with hundreds of individuals just to help them with their psychological problems.
We could even call them superheroes as we used them up and worked them to death. Why not? We do it to essential workers. Ah, heroes.
It's a very pretty wish, I think.
Well my screen name is a superhero now! When I cuddle and or chat with friends sometimes they feel so comfortable with me that both happy and painful life events are discussed. I pride myself for being there for friends as much a I can personally, do does not bother me. I find that, when others can discuss, trust and deal with the realities of life, while with a supportive person (it definitely helps their overall health). So true this is a cuddle site but in life in general I try to bring extra qualities that assist others too. Nothing wrong with assisting when you can!
mWahahahahaaaa 😈😈😈😈
@SuperManCuddles 🦸♂️🫂
@quixotic_life Very Awesome 😎 image !!! Too funny and nice 👍🏿 emoji 😊 usage!!! @Importance
Well it all depends on people how strong mentally they are and what's your knowledge and understanding about life, you don't have to go to a help center to get help cus at the end it's all about humans helping humans.. I understand the the purpose of life and how we can help eachother to become better.. the problem is who wants to become better and whose willing to change the life style if we are not helping ourselfs.. life is beautiful when we support one another, we are all in the same boat imagine earth is our boat.
I think you need to find the superhero inside yourself. Then have your stomach pumped.
