How do you become professional?
@KingRixo - I would advise against men becoming pros because they have to pay a monthly fee and it is very likely (almost certain) that you will not get a single client. You'll be wasting your money.

If you would like to go pro as a male, there seems to be only a small market for it. The profile would have to be much more appealing than the vast number of free men's profiles out there. To target this small market, you would likely have to advertise that you can travel cross country. Would recommend get a few professional headshots for your profile. Your profile should also have to convey that you are sensitive to the domestic trauma that some women go through. Best of luck.

Can we please stop telling men that there's no market for them? Because there is and some of those shot down recently have seemed like genuinely good guys looking to be of service and to be giving of themselves.
The discouraging negativity just seems unnecessary to me. It's a nominal fee and if he's the real deal maybe it'll work out. And if he's not ~ He'll either join the rest of the enthusiasts, get the ban hammer or leave.

If you’re looking to make a quick buck, this won’t work. Honestly you’d probably spend more time on this than any other side hustle, with variable returns.
I'm not being negative. Just realistic. Most of them are just looking for some "easy money". They'll have better luck starting a paper route. Men have a hard enough time getting somebody to cuddle them for free.

So where is this market? Can you point to one male pro who has had a female client? One? I've seen so many male pros show up here and delete their account after a few weeks because they get no clients.
Another big cuddle site actually had a warning on their application form that went something like this: "Men are welcome to apply to become professional cuddlers with us, but you should know that in our experience male cuddlers generally don't get clients." IMO it's actually fairly slimy for CC to accept the fee from men without warning them how unlikely it is they'll make any money.

Well there's over 40 who have been online from 10 months ago to just this week so... They're here and staying current...
And the markets would be anywhere there are those looking to cuddle with those who identify as men.
I would consider paying for a cuddle if the man had a fantastic profile, not too far away, not too expensive (would expect a much lower rate than a female cuddler), tons of good karma, could host and had pictures of their studio, and seemed like a safe person after chatting.
Basically the same criteria I’d use for choosing a massage therapist, plus a little extra since masseuse have to go through certification and cuddlers don’t.
So...me, i’m the market lol @Mike403. Granted, I am looking for a very specific product!

@cricket26 @quixotic_life - It's still very rare that a male pro is successful so I still think it's ethical to at least warn them that it will likely not work out unless they are able to stand out from all the free cuddlers.

And i agree, the prospective male pros are most often here for easy cash. I just posted on the off-chance that he actually wanted to put in the work. 🤷♀️

I'm not trying to dismiss the possibility he was hired, but it's also likely his karma was in place before he went pro. He could have hired her or cuddled as an enthusiast. Hard to tell as his karma giver is on pause.
TBH, these forums are filled with a bunch of negativity and confrontational individuals, and yes 98% are males. If y'all would invest that time and energy in something else....yeah that would be great. So what if someone wants to pay a fee to be listed as male PRO? The question here was HOW DO YOU BECOME A PROFESIONAL? It wasn't an invitation to your unsolicited advices, if you don't feel confident enough to be listed as pro or you're broke that you can't pay a monthly fee....don't stop others from doing so.
@socalcuddler - As @CuddleMeLater mentioned, an ethical thing for this site to do for males requesting to be pro is to warn them how unlikely it will be to get clients.... That isn't stopping them. They can still go ahead and proceed if they choose.

@Envie That's fair. Is it possible to go from pro -> enthusiast as well and keep your karma? If that's the case too, then there's no reliable way to get information about which male pros have been successful.
@squeakytoy - Karma stays, regardless of pro or enthusiast origination.
@squeakytoy to my understanding all karma aquired remains until you delete your profile. So yes, it's really hard to tell which male pros have been hired versus hired pros or cuddled other enthusiasts for a rating. 🤷♀️
Huh... seems like Paid Cuddlers should have a "Registration Date" then. Like a default field that shows up under their "Join Date"....
@quixotic_life - I don't think it matters. A male pro might be more successful if he starts out as an enthusiast, builds up a bunch of karma, then switches. Karma is supposed to just be an indication if they showed up on time and if boundaries were respected.
Huh... that's not how I use Karma or have had it used for me... so not sure that holds. Either way though, it's a good piece of info to have.

As a young entrepreneur many years ago , I received advice I’ve never forgotten that I still rely on today : for every no you get , you’re that much closer to a yes.
The join date makes it easier to call out the trolls on the site...because they don't usually troll from an established account.
