There seems to be more and more articles being written about lack of human contact due to COVID. I hate that Covid happened, but am glad it did as it has brought to light a problem that has been long on going, just never in the limelight. I am thrilled that we get to talk about this out in the open now and help people realize that there may be a simple solution to the feelings/symptoms they may be experiencing, such as:
*stress
*anxiety
*feelings of depression
*low satisfaction
*difficulty sleeping
*fatigue
I am a firm believer in cuddling/hugging being included in therapy. Human contact is crucial to our well-being, even those that claim to be loners.
Can you share how cuddling has impacted your life? How often do you find yourself needing cuddling? Is your need related to your real life stressors? What other symptoms have you felt relieved through cuddling?
