Listen all. I appreciate the careful disclaimer on the original post. There isn't an official rule regarding topics and subjects in the forums other than stated exclusions: no adult content of any type, including images or depictions.
But there is another rule to keep in mind moving forward, regarding "rubbish": please refrain from posting meaningless threads and one word (or short) nonsense posts. @UltimateChungus - I am NOT saying your post was rubbish, btw. Keep reading.
As a moderator, this rule is problematic, because what is rubbish to me may not be rubbish to some of you, and vice versa. We've seen a whole litany of different kinds of posts the last few months. You all know my preference in keeping threads open, but you also know I will close them because of personal attacks and when the reporting flags start spamming my inbox.
Will every forum thread be about cuddling? No. Will you agree with every thread? Absolutely not. What am I asking then? I am asking OPs of the future to be mindful of what they're posting.
Are you spamming the forums? Is your post baiting or creating intentional conflict? Don't like the OP and attack them and don't have something constructive to say about their post? Don't be upset if you get called on it or your threads moved or shut down.

@Sideon It seemed like a light-hearted thread, but I can understand not wanting the forum to be spammed with meaningless stuff.
@FlyingToaster - I had no issue with the original post. But personal attacks are a no no. I came into this because of multiple flags/reports.
