Making plans...
@quixotic_life Always good to have something to look forward to!
I bury myself in work when everything else seems to suck. Though, I guess for someone who's just been laid off, they could replace this with applying like a madman.
@tashy I was going to say the exact same thing!!! 1. Music 1.5 Potatoes!!!
Traveling to places I've never been to before.
My solo Tantra practice and my connection and devotion to the One Energy.
I remember that how I "feel" is largely chemistry. "It's just bad chemistry". How I "feel' is irrelevant. The best I can do is make the best decisions I can, in my situation, based on the information I have at the time. If I've been true to those, then I can never second-guess my decisions. I was able to relax, when I stopped rehashing past decisions. Because I can't change them and I made the best decision at the time. This has helped me cope with a lot of the recent mayhem and change.
Massages, facials, Mother Nature!!! , my resilience... knowing that this too will pass. I allow myself to feel bad for a day( or however long I need) and make sure to wake up the next day as if I have a new lease on life
Hugs 💗
Finally getting a dog , it really helped me a lot just Hugging him , and being around my dog really helped me , and I would say music and writing for sure !
it’s not me to wallow in self pity. I get off my a** and make the changes I want to make. but essentially I rely on my myself. my self preservation and perseverance to get through any problem I face.
Faith in God, music, massages, and pizza sustain me when things suck. Although I notice also When I drink into deep depression I lose myself in binge watching DC or Marvel shows or movies. It helps me forget real life.
Music, dark chocolate, tea, wine, any combination of carbs and cheese, a good book, and a long hot bath.
As for me, it is my relationship with Jesus. This world is full of evil an the crap that results from it. I have had my share. I was hit head on by a uhaul while on a motorcycle and was told by every one I would never walk again but God whispered to me to believe Him not man. Today I can run all those people around a tennis court, have windsurfed and do much more than walk. My second daughter had a heart beat that from the get go even I knew was a mess. The echo showed a deformed ventricle and valve. The whole time we were told open heart surgery at birth was needed, but God said trust in Me and I had peace about it. On the day of birth the team was ready and after birth they did a scan of the heart and saw no abnormalities and a perfect heart rate with no intervention that even twelve years later has never had a hiccup. I have other stories as well. God never promised a problem free life. But, while I have walked with Him every time the storm came He was right there handing me an umbrella. And the perfected eternity to come makes any “inconvenience “ here well worth it.
My two cents
